Friday night textual ramble (Patreon)
Content
Hi there~ I finally got the new recording gear all set up, and I'm very happy with how it sounds. I'll hopefully be posting a few audio things this weekend, or the start of next week (one of which likely will be the reddit early access thunderstorm friends to lovers audio).
We've rounded a month of streaming again, alongside more frequent posting on twitter and patreon, with very smooth sailing all things considered. I'm still trying to navigate it all, seemingly small steps feel like huge leaps at times - and I've found myself overwhelmed on a few occasions. I'm figuring it all out, and I appreciate having you here for that journey.
I'm about to get ready to hop into bed, and while I have a lot of things on my mind (and sleep then is likely far away), I'll let this ramble be somewhat brief.
I'm excited to see the new patrons (hi~) for this spring season, especially here in march. I always feel like there's just something in the air for certain creative thoughts following the new season. - It might just be the Vitamin D talking, but sunrays have such healing effects on this half danish/spanish soul. It helps with my anxious busy brain, and grounds me in beautiful ways. However it does make nights feel that much more empty, and at the same time, ripe to be filled with all sorts of thoughts.
Recently I've been reading some social psychology books I picked up at the library (I have a US library card now woo) - and I've reached a topic that's been occupying my mind a lot: To be seen. Feeling like someone is truly seeing you, and spending time listening to you, thinking about you, watching you, feeling your being near.. - it's such a captivating and fantastic feeling, yet it is also something we as people can suffer without.I thought about how I hope the intimate nature of the content that I make can help you feel seen. In feeling seen, even if it's in a book, or a song, or an audio, you can recognize yourself or an emotion you long for and appreciate. You can learn something about yourself and steer your mind towards the things that make you feel good. Finding the vulnerability to be introspective, and giving yourself grace and love - so that you can grow. And grow strong too! Human connection is so beautiful and complex, I really do want to learn more.
Hmm..
These are the thoughts that will fill my mind as I brush my teeth, and lie down in bed. Resting, but not sleeping. Just resting. Pensive. The last thought replaced by a new. All too many thoughts...
What will yours be? Feel free to share in the comments.
