Thank you so much for listening to all of my "crunch times" this month, you have been so sweet to me. I can't quite convey just how much I appreciate being able to just talk about anything or nothing at all - it really is something I cherish.

Is there something you particularly liked about this month? A small (or big) thing that happened that you would like to share? I'd love to hear it.

You're lovely,

thank you x

Perfect timing sir, my birthday is tomorrow or in a couple minutes. I definitely loved the crunch time this month, my life sometimes got in the way with a couple. I personally just really liked hearing your life, it's a good escape from everything in my life. The gardening and adventures with friends was nice to hear about. I also love hearing what you eat (cause I'm weird lol). I just especially like how you always make it funny, safe, welcoming and above all loving. Thanks for making this month better just by posting a small videos, it helped my nights or early mornings be more enjoyable. Truly appreciate your work and time you put in for your content.❤ Also you can always be part of my world... cause you make it better, even though I dont know you and you dont know me. You're still important to me and my mental health 😊❤

Hello, cute shadow 👀💙 I'm going to miss the daily crunch times, they've been a really sweet addition to the month and something fun to look forward to, regardless if whether the day on this end was kind or not. From the silly moments to the gardening, car rides or vulnerable moments, witnessing these snippets into your mind and enjoying you ramble was always lovely. Still, more adventures await us in the future~ Usually I have detailed replies to what you have said, as they're always lovely to ponder over, but this one I just listened and absorbed, let the words flow through my brain and react to in real time. Many smiles, attempts at mimicking the cute bird sounds, wanting to taste some of those beans while also comforting your belly, thinking about essays, appreciating your existence. Thank you for a great month, Crunchy. Your efforts are a true testament to your desire and purpose in helping us feel good, and I hope that our words bring you back those good feeling as well. You deserve them 💙 When you get there, sweet dreams, and stay safe. Thank you.

April felt like a year honestly. Had a new nephew (felt like my heart and my love grew bigger 🥹), grieved over loved ones that passed, and yet still had lots of unexpected moments to be grateful for.. I'm not sure what May will bring, but this month led me to a deeper(?) understanding of my heart, my mind and my body, which lowkey scares me cause it feels like I'm being prepared for something, for a transition or idk.. something that would require this current awareness to overcome whatever's coming.. maybe.. idk Anyway, you are! You are touching a lot of us 🤭 I'm looking forward to your essay, if you do get to it. I recently bought this compilation of "the world's greatest essays" which I think has added to this month's introspection hahaha But yeah~ I'd love to read yours, Dear Sir🌸 Hearing and listening to your words is always a pleasure. This month's daily crunch time was such a sweet thought to "come home to.." I will surely miss it 🥹 But I'm also proud of you for making it through! And all the things you accomplished! 🌱Ahh, good job Crumchyyy 🥰 (I'm kinda curious how your honey looks tbh 👀) Oop. I yapped. Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Crumch! 🤍✨ See you next month! I hope you sleep sweetly tonight, knowing you've created a cosy space full of warmth, comfort and feeling good for a lot of people, including me 🕊️ hehe god nat sommerfugl 🩵 P.S. so random but as soon as you said "adding to your world," Before Today's Color Your World started playing in my head 🤭 oki I run now goobaiiii~

thank you for a lovely month of crunch times 🤍 this was the last month of the spring semester for me, and it was really nice to have these crunch times to look forward to after long, stressful days as a way to decompress and to just take some moments to be present instead of worried about everything that needs to get done. i appreciate these small glimpses into your daily life - it feels like a comfortable, sweet, abstract form of connection today was, unsurprisingly, another long day, but a very sweet end to the month for me, and maybe a highlight of the month as well. i received an unexpected letter today, and i got emotional reading it because i feel like they really saw me in a way not many people have, and they named things i have trouble seeing in myself a lot of the time. this is one of two notes/letters i’ve received that made me feel truly seen, and i honestly will hold on to and cherish them forever. the way these letters have helped change my self perception and made me believe in myself more makes me want to be more thoughtful about the words i use to describe people and to set an intention to try and see people the way these people who wrote these letters see me thank you again for a great month, i hope may brings you lots of sunshine, fun experiences, creative energy, and peace 🌷✨

Hm… I don’t really know where to start, or what exactly I want to respond to—there was so much said, and knowing this is the last Crunchtime makes it even harder to focus. I was going to ask why you can’t pick dandelions from the park, but I suppose they’re probably not clean, and maybe it’s not allowed to pluck them from public spaces. Oh well—huzzah for the first batch of honey! That’s genuinely exciting. I really hope I’ll manage to try making some myself this summer. That’s the plan anyway—fingers crossed I stick to it! That bird song was beautiful, and the bird itself was adorable! Yes—I absolutely paused to look it up, heehee. They seem so tiny and quick, really zippy little creatures. I have a feeling your bribes will work eventually—especially if you keep offering little gifts and being patient. But for now, I think the squirrels are incredibly happy about all those cashews. And I have to agree with you—you are touching us. Your words, your laugh, the way you share your thoughts—sometimes even the little videos or photos you post—they reach people, and they stick with us. They find us at moments we might not even realize we need them, and they leave something behind. That "something" might be different for each person, but the impact is real. You are present in the way you share, and it matters. There’s definitely a bit of sadness for me. Who wouldn’t want to know someone they get excited “together” with about so many things, little or big. Someone they feel tiny bits of connection with? But even so… this is beautiful, just as it is. This space is special because of its boundaries. It’s gentle and safe, and that’s a rare and beautiful thing. We all live in our own little day-to-day bubbles, and you have yours too. But you’ve also created this soft corner of the world, a little resting place where people can drop in whenever they need. A quiet, comforting spot where we can exist—however briefly—in one way or another. And even though we can’t offer our voices, or our physical presence, or give “real” interaction—we can offer the little letters we leave behind for you here. And I hope they reach you the way you reaches us—make us smile and feel good—we’re able to give back a little goodness too. A little story that made me smile recently: A few days ago, I was sitting on the balcony and watching a pair of starlings flirt. It was so sweet—honestly, almost cartoonishly cute. They’d stare at each other, chirp and bounce around, and the female would fly in these tiny loops before landing just a little further away. The male would then chase after her like a tiny determined chicken. It was the highlight of my day. Sadly, it ended in drama—a third starling showed up, and the female flew off. I felt oddly heartbroken for my little guy. He was so cute and sweet. 😔 I’m really going to miss these daily “hangouts.” They became part of my mornings—something to look forward to, a sweet ritual. Whether you were being silly, thoughtful, or vulnerable, it was always a joy to listen. Getting a glimpse into your world, being let into your thoughts, your day, your mind… it’s been a joy and a privilege. Quite lovely, really. Thank you for sharing so freely. I can’t wait to see what we’ll get up to in the month ahead. Rest well, Crunch. May your dreams be sweet, and your morning gentle. Warm hugs. 🤍🌺

Did you make the Marry Me Beans? Gosh they're good. The first time I made them I ate way too many, too. 😂 Aww, wrens are my favorite. We have the Carolina Wren where I live which has slightly different coloring and song, but I would imagine very similar if not the same behavior. They have a beautiful song and they're such funny little creatures. The way they're so curious, tilting their heads and checking everything out. It just makes me smile. If birds could talk, I'd want to be friends with a wren. They're primarily bug eaters and one thing they LOVE is dried mealworms, so you may have some luck getting a closer look if you sprinkle some of those around. (Sometimes farm supply stores sell them more cheaply in the chicken section as treats, lol.) Wrens also nest in any good nook and cranny they can find, so be on the lookout. I've had them nest in the wreath on my back door, in hanging plants on my porch. I'm sure you'll see more of them soon. 🤍 I'd be very interested to read an essay about this creator/listener connection. While you do talk about it fairly often, it's so nuanced that I always seem to catch something new each time. Yes. It's complex. I'm going to miss the daily Crunch Times, but I'm curious and excited to see what you cook up for us on Fridays. 🤍

I loved just hearing about your day!! It just feels nice to listen to someone talk honestly :) thank you for sharing with ys

Twitch is a bit like a dandelion convention. Only it's digital. And some of the dandelions go against TOS. And the venue co-rented out to a dancing goose convention. Ok so nothing like a dandelion convention at all lol Looking forward to what you get up to on Fridays and the rest of May 💙

I’ll repeat myself again, but these little audios were truly so cosy to listen to in the morning - the shorter hellos and the longer musings that I listened to while still drowsy and after turning off my alarms 💚 sending kisses to menace (best guest star) and to the seedlings (how will we know that you tucked them to sleep now??) lots of cosy daydreams and gardening adventures - curious what May will bring 💚

It feels like I’m 10 years old and it’s the last day of school before summer vacation. My best friend is going away so I won’t get to see them for a while. I know it’s not forever, but my 10 year old brain feels like it’s a bittersweet eternity. 🩵🍀🦋

The essay sounds totally good. And, about the frailty of this connection between us and you, I mean, we (or, I speak for myself actually) feel it too. And it gets painful as well. For you are indeed like-minded and basically someone that I would cherish a lot. And I am very (almost painfully) selective. It breaks my heart too, sometimes. And I try to not come too close to this idea of you because YOU are a part of it and I will most likely never get to know you or really have you on my -like you said- little universe, my history, my future. And sometimes I don't listen to you for days but I'm glad you somehow are here. And the occasions I've let myself dive in and connect, I'm always guided by you and your "it's okay"s. They are so dear to me. And yes it's absurd and yes it is not, it is complex like you also say. It's painfully pretty and unique. Like you to me and the idea of me to you -according to what you say-. I got sad halfway. Mr. Dandelion, what can I say? 🌼
