Mind if I steal a cherry or two? Just kidding~(...unless?) As someone with a greenhouse, the bitter lettuce hit way too close. I clenched my fist dramatically in support...Also, the snails attacked my sunflowers. I’m mad. Truly. How dare. The heat’s frying my brain and roasting my skin, but hey, my freckles showed up for the first time in a decade. Took a roadtrip to Sweden this month - perfect weather, gorgeous rivers and mountains. Midsummer was a dream too. And I love driving. It’s both soothing and exciting. I listen to stuff, sure, but half the time I dissociate,so it would be cool to roadtrip with someone. Y’know, ..talk, point out cows and storks on the side of the road, and just let thoughts wander. Also, your English spiraling a bit is honestly so charming. I’m trilingual too, mb that'swhy. Perhaps we can quiz each other on tough words. A kiss every time we get one right? Seems fair. (P.S. That scandalous Crunchy bit was kinda hot. And yeah… the “side effect” is definitely there. Not a bad thing though. Actually, it’s very fun.) Hope you won't mind me being all rambley here, hehe Looking forward to July now~

Hi from the UK, jealous of your cherry haul - our trees get raided by the birds before we get any but we do get to enjoy the blossoms in the Spring and I'm slightly alarmed at the amount of apples we're going to have to deal with soon so it all evens out! We're about to pickle a whole bunch of cucumbers in black vinegar which are so tasty and last us all year. I'm pretty new here, having discovered you on Reddit - most of GWA doesn't resonate with me but your audios are lovely, thank you x

Knowing that Menace has missed you from your travels is a sweet testament to how much you are cared for and adored by that cutie. And I don't blame him one bit 🤭 and I love the duality of this update. On one hand, gardening and introspection, on the other, ✨️needy✨️. It's truly the best way to represent how the cafe is run around here. And yes, 4th of July. Been hearing loud fireworks and booms since 10-11am, and it hasn't stopped since :,} I was with some family members earlier today to celebrate, but I decided to leave early to be comfy with my own (and frijole's) company with some food I can actually eat. So to answer the "what am I wearing" question, it was a cute dress, but now a big ol t-shirt that might as well be called a dress with oversized sleeves. It's hot. Too hot. Over the 100f hot. Halp 🙃 Road trips! Gosh, I wish right now. I was planning one for this month, until my car decided to have other plans and leak a fair amount of steering fluid, among a few other things. So long trips will have to wait until that's sorted. I could rent out a car and all that, but.. my car needs an adventure, too.. ;-; 100%, this update is very enlightening and relaxing. You do know your timing for when to pop in at the right time and help the mind and body relax, so I thank you for that. Nice to hear from you, hope you had a great road trip. Welcome back 💕 I have a 14hr playlist just for driving, but I'm afraid I wouldn't have the attention span to focus on an audiobook/podcast AND drive lol I had a tiny little vacation with family and finally got to stay in a decent hotel with an actual bathtub. Welcome back, Crunch! I was wondering how Menace took your absence—I was sure he wouldn’t be happy to realize his favorite human was nowhere to be found. Good to see he’s being miffed 😂 I’m so happy to hear the road trip was fun! I can imagine the driving must’ve gotten tiring after a while, but still, totally worth it. I don’t drive myself. I mentioned it once during a crunchtime. Dad was of the “throw her in the pool and she’ll swim” mentality. It didn’t work with me. It actually had the opposite effect—though I did learn how to technically drive, I never touched the wheel again. Anyway! Where I was going with that is, I love road trips, but since I don’t drive, I either provide my (very annoying) company to the driver… or I just sit and think. And think… and think. I believe it’s unavoidable, watching the road stretch ahead, trees flying by, it just makes your mind wander. So I don’t really do playlists or podcasts. Just me and my thoughts. Hmm, I think my last road trip was last year? It was actually after you posted that cute little red brick house that reminded me of a place I used to visit with my family. Back then, I didn’t realize how fascinating it was. The houses there looked like they were plucked from different corners of the world and smushed together. That kind of thing isn’t common here—especially not in older, small towns like that. So the memory got me moving, I pestered some friends, and off we went. Just a quick 4-day trip, but it was fun. Very sweet, very nostalgic, seeing that place again. Hmm, I believe bolting happens from a lack of water? Like the plant tries to trick itself into thinking it's fine, so it starts growing faster and throws out flowers. Not 100% sure, and I’m dreadfully sleepy to go look it up right now 😴 I’m sorry to hear the garden got a little unruly while you were away, but I’m sure you’ll have it back in shape in no time. Maybe we’ll get some more gardening shenanigans out of it? A whole blueberry, you say? Ohohoho 🤭 Oh! I’d love to hear about the book!! I haven’t read it—honestly, I’ve never been able to get into Sanderson. I don’t know what it is about his writing, but it just knocks me out. That said, the man has created some incredible worlds. His core themes don’t seem to shift much (usually heroes turning into gods, or close to it), but the worldbuilding? Phenomenal. So yes, I’d love to hear you ramble about it! Side note: for some reason, I can’t do audiobooks. I lose focus almost instantly and my brain just takes off. Which is funny, because I can read for hours with no issue. Brains are weird like that. Editing in public? How naughty of you, mister. Also, it’s amazing to hear that new people are joining, and that some longtime folks are finally finding their way over. Welcome, everyone! Mumbling? Not even a little. You sound perfectly clear. And cherries, I love all of them. There’s something so satisfying about biting into one when it’s crisp and sweet, that little pop and burst of flavor. Not my favorite fruit, but I still adore their juiciness. And the ones you’re currently munching on sound perfectly crispy. Okay… I really should be sleeping—it’s almost 5AM 😅 I just happened to wake up and saw the notif, and… well, I couldn’t resist. So off I go again, back to my dreams. See you there? I’ve been on a business trip lately, and after a long workday, driving around aimlessly—no destination, just going wherever the road takes me. One evening, I accidentally came across a beautiful sea glowing under the sunset. I didn’t even think twice—just knew I had to jump into the waves. And so, I swam in the sea for the first time in my life. It was amazing. And coming back home—being cozy, comfy, and finally hearing your voice again—that feels so good too. Thank you for creating such a warm space where we can share what’s on our minds. Wishing you all the best. Let’s celebrate this summer—and this life—together :)

So good to hear from you Crunchy! Those cherries sound delicious! 😋 I'm so glad to hear you had a great road trip — hope it was full of amazing memories! I absolutely love road trips too: driving through new landscapes, not always knowing what’s coming at the next stop… there’s something magical about it. My last big road trip was back in May — about 4,000 km around southern Italy — and I loved every minute of it. I’ll admit, I got to play the “passenger princess” for most of the city driving (southern Italian traffic is not for the faint of heart😅). We timed it perfectly too — right before the real summer heat kicked in. So now, I don’t feel guilty being a full-time AC gremlin. 😅 That said, I’ve been trying to embrace the heat a bit more, so I’ve picked up snorkeling and joined a few local NGOs to force me to stay active and outdoors. So far, summer’s been treating me really well — peaceful nights on the beach, amazing boat trips, and exploring the underwater world around here has been such a beautiful experience. I hope you have a truly lovely summer too — filled with joy, adventure, and everything that makes you feel good. Sending you as many digital hugs and kisses as your heart desires. 💛 xx

It's good to have a change of scenery- a jolt to the system and a cellular reset, as it were. I've never done a big big road trip, though I feel like driving across the whole of the US would be quite the undertaking. I'd need a plan in place, and people with me, I don't know that I could do it alone. It's currently bedtime so I'm wearing this cute, very soft sleep set- a tank top and shorts, they're pink and blue and white with soft little clouds on them. I feel softer in them. You could say they're easy to take off... That whispery, dreamy voice of yours.... so lovely. Though you encourage naughty thoughts when your voice starts going like that.

Listening to your little update was the perfect way for me to unwind after finally getting home from a long day. I’m very glad to hear you enjoyed the road trips! I didn’t get a lot of opportunities to go on some myself, but always appreciated them. But, at the moment, I can’t say I’m a big fan of cars unfortunately. Got into a little accident a few days ago, I was waiting at the red light and let’s just say that the car coming from behind me didn’t see neither the light being red nor me and my car being there, so they just drove into me at full (but city at least) speed. Luckily, I wasn’t hurt besides some scratches, and neither was my friend and her dog who were with me at the time. My car, can’t say the same sadly, but is still at least drivable for now, until the insurance gets it repaired. So yeah, cars and me have a bit of a beef with each other for now! I’m always on board to hear your thoughts about any subject, honestly. So yes, please, feel free to shad about the book!! Books are, to no one surprise, a favourite topic of mine haha. It’s almost the 14th of July, so it’s gonna be our tour to go through all of that. I’ll definitely stay home, never been much for a crowd. Maybe I’ll see some fireworks from my balcony? We’ll see, it’s my first time from this place after all. Back when I was still living with my parents, from the very start of their driveway, we could see a bit of it in the sky. Usually we watched for a few minutes with my dad and then call it a day haha. Hm as for what I’m wearing right now, just an oversized t-shirt that doubles as my pjs. Nothing too fancy tho, but very comfortable. And I’m also all cosy in bed. So yeah, not bad at all!
