Just grabbing some wine now, hehe. I hope you enjoy this! - The audio for today will be postponed by a bit, as I fiddle with a few issues I had with it.And because I answered questions for 40 minutes, it's only fair of me to ask you one right back!

Where in the world would you want to go if you could go anywhere?🤍

Thank you for answering these questions! Still listening to it now and will probably post my thoughts on it all after, but I must put in... your choice of superpower, you already know what your catchphrase is going to be, right? *cue DSB tune*

thank you for this long audio, crunch man! it's exactly what i need after a long day. as for your question, i knew immediately what my answer was - interlaken, switzerland. it's a tiny tiny hiking town in the bernese oberland part of the swiss alps, it's where my grandfather grew up, and it's also where my paternal grandparents' ashes were scattered. i never got to meet him, but i feel closer to him whenever i'm there. interlaken is located between two lakes, the aare river (which runs through bern) feeds into lake brienz; on the other side is lake thun. i have fond memories of outdoor ice skating on the lakes with my younger brother when we were babies. i was lucky enough to spend a bit of my childhood in the alps, with lots of skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and hiking in the spring. and chasing after cows with my brother and cousins. munching on handmade bread and guessing the names of mountains. everything was picture-perfect beautiful, and i was probably the happiest i've ever been. i'll try to make a trip back as soon as i can.

Natascha

Weirdly sexy clothes? Men in Lederhosen I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL

Nicole KS

It's silly how flustered I get when you get up close to the mic and speak softly lol >.> Also hell yeah to men in skirts.

Phantasm Cat

Okay, aaaaaand finished! You know the "short" ama is good when there are rambles and it goes over the time limit you thought it would reach. Again, thank you for answering these questions! So much fun listening to your answers, from the choosing between elbows or knees, Joey Dosik, the "acquired" pens at the library, and your.. ehem.. rented out toys (explain dude, my curiosity is peaking here). And those vegan chocolate chip cookies, ayoo dude I gotchu 👉😎👉 To answer your question, I really had to think about this. I've always wanted to travel somewhere in Japan or somewhere in Europe. Just have a full trip and explore new roads, taste new foods, and interact with the locals (speaking of foods kind of, I recently was searching all the different Danish candies just out of curiosity, and oh my dear lord I want to try some so bad...). See how life is and get a better grasp of all the different perspectives people have. Born and raised in California, I've had opportunities to just drive to the beach or the forest or even the desert in a few hours time, but to travel out of the country, that's fascinating to me. Again, thank you so much!! Stay safe, and enjoy that wine meow meow 💙

Mrs. Dubose

Now that I'm thinking about it, I've traveled quite a lot so I'm not sure if I'd want to go somewhere new or revisit a place with good memories. If I went somewhere new, I'd love to go to Egypt. That whole culture has always fascinated me since a very early age. When I was little we used to have a special edition National Geographic book with all kinds of pictures of pyramids and mummies and artifacts. I looked at it all the time. And as an older teenager I got to see a lot of artifacts in person at the British Museum (let's not talk about the politics of that) and it was THRILLING. So so cool. Egypt is at the top of my list. If I'm revisiting, I want to go back to Florence. Lots of very sweet, fun memories there. I'd like to go back and take my time exploring and wandering around museums and people watching on the street. I want cantaloupe gelato again. It's one of my most vivid taste memories. Thank you for answering our questions! This was so fun. I was smiling and laughing the whole time. But also, nsfw ramble when? You are RENTING your sex toys out?! Hfos? More questions than answers here, methinks.

cosymary5

I loved LOVED this alleged "mini" ama! The questions were all super fun or super introspective / philosophical and I really enjoyed hearing your answers. As for your question, South Korea is I think the most expensive trip on my travel bucket list, so I'd take the magical opportunity to go there for free. Hope everyone is having a nice timezone ❤️

Red Star

You always seem so chill and easy to be around. Your friends are so lucky to have someone like you. You are the type of person I would love to be around just to hang out and laugh a lot. Have a great day/night.

yellow seong

HEY IM A SOCK-SHOE SOCK-SHOE PERSON 😆😭 Thanks for the validation????? It's pronounced "song" but with a kind'a softer vowel bc of the E but yeah it sounds like that lol You got it right the first time! Literally laughed out loud when you said I should go for anime bc ohmygod dude I'm probably that one kid in school who watches too much of that 😂 And I cosplay a lot too (and take it really seriously like I hunted an actual working blue flip phone for my Mirai Nikki cosplay for example) so there's that. But thank you for the recs 🥺👉👈 So many mentions of young Crompch today. Imagining a tiny and tiny and smol Cwunch is so uwu 🥺🥺🥺 There's so many places I wanna go to rn but the things I'd do just to be in Italy at this very moment aaaaaa The gastronomical adventure I'd have there ooof And it's so ancient, there's a lot of things to learn about ♥️✨ Hope everyone's having a great day ☀️🌙

Acedia

Anyone can pronounce Acedia however they want. The way Crunch said it before with the hard "c" is also technically correct and kinda grew on me. But I don't feel too strongly either way. Sorry I blindsided you with a non-silly question, it was an interesting answer at least. Thank you for answering our questions Crunch. If I could go anywhere to just visit, I'd want to go to Kyoto, Japan and see the main shrine there. The pictures of the Senban Torii, the long path of red gates looks . . .serene. I'd want to go in the spring and look at other nearby nature stuff too. Also traveling through space and time sounds cool but then it gets messy with "can you accidentally change history and should you?" And that's too much responsibility for me. Teleporting just through space would be enough for me.

cosmicdreams

i just need to pop in quickly to say his name is robert pattinson not edward cullen, pls put some respect on my husband’s name 😭 and thanks for this ama 🤍

Ayesha

God crunch I HATE the idea of transcending time and space. I’m a firm believer in the idea that I am where and when I’m meant to be and the idea of being somewhere/sometime else is terrifying!! Hmm I think I’d like to go to Vancouver! Would love to move there with my friend one day. And OOH men in skirts….high socks..hairy legs….very good answer id have to agree. Lastly-the reminder of the alien audio had me laughing to myself. What a fucking trip, dude. Such a great audio, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a good weekend crunch man and all! <3

Ayesha

Oh also! Forgot to mention but I didn’t even know being gay was a thing till I was around 12 (!!), even though I was very obviously not only interested in boys as a kid. It’s interesting to see how little that mattered to me back then compared to how much it matters now. Very funny too because little me was sneaking off with my girl friends to go kiss them in abandoned classrooms. And I turned out to be the only queer one. Allegedly.

Mrs. Dubose

Okay, I'm back. First of all, you know the the gif of the man in the puffer vest who has hands on his hips and then he turns away indignantly? That is my response to your response to my song lyrics/singing question from lens. Second, if the mechanics of a small goose's legs supporting its weight works, I don't buy your strategy of a giant goose's legs giving out. I am highly skeptical. 🤨

CarelessWhisper

Crunchy, this was so much fun to listen to. Thank you. Men in skirts. Yes pleeeease and thank you. If I could go anywhere in the world, I'd go to Space Camp. April was so much fun. You really do the most for us. ❤

Ange

Thanks for this, Crunch. A cute commute listen. But why’d you have to get all close to the mic for Allie’s question, then talk about men in skirts and kilts with high socks? Got my heart rate up for a second there. If I could go anywhere right now I’d either visit a friend in another part of Canada, or maybe finally see Italy? A food and art and pretty people tour in the sunshine sounds amazing.

cherucaustic

Well I loved every second of this after driving home from my long work day. Cheru is short for Cherushi which is my name in Japanese, it became my childhood nickname. Your life soundtrack sounds pretty cool thank you for answering 🥰. If I could go anywhere…I’m not sure maybe Italy? I’ve wanted to go for years, I’ve been learning Italian and I planned to go this year but covid ruined it. If you had asked me 10 years ago my answer would’ve been England or Japan. I’ve always wanted to travel the world, experience cultures different from mine and see the history, the architecture etc. Hope I still get to someday. Thanks for an amazing month, excited for what you have planned in May 💗

Vivitorie

Okay, that was so much fun 😀 I loved it. April was really nice here. Crunchy and everyone, wish y'all a lovely May 💛 I miss the seaside so much, I'd love to go somewhere, where I could go to the beach and just watch the waves crash onto the shore. But I don't want it to be hot there, something about 18-23°C is the best. Country doesn't really matter 💗

_S

What... no you can't just get new knees!! Commit to either silly walks or wonky arms. I feel cheated... 😅 Lots of places I'd like to go back to, mainly Japan or South Korea. But at the moment I'd say I'd want to go back to my favourite bar/restaurant ever in Seville, El Riconcillo. The last (and only) time I was in Seville I had dinner there every night because it was so fun. A friend of mine is in Seville at the moment and had an amazing time there 🥲 Thanks for AMA, this was a fun listen while I was making breakfast ❤️

Erin

I don’t know if it’s a thing to answer these things months after they were posted but here I am. 🤠 It’s interesting to hear about your own experience with your sexual identity and your exposure/integration to the LGBTQIA+ community. My aunt is gay and was married to a woman so that always way very normal to me but I didn’t know much about other sexualities until high school when my sister came out as pansexual. I was confused at first and I asked her if that meant she just really liked bread 🥹 también me gusta el pan 🌚 If I could go anywhere in the world at this very moment I would probably go to Asunción, Paraguay. I studied abroad there and my host sister is getting married in a few days. It’s been years since I’ve been back and I miss my family and friends there.
