is it weird to answer your question (how i found you) three and half years after this post was made? hope not…cause i’m going to answer anyways 🙈 back in september, my friend shared one of your instagram stories with me…instantly intrigued. then found you on reddit and listened to a lot of your audios there first, then saw you had a patreon so in october i subscribed on here because i loved your audios so much and i wanted to be supportive…and also get more of your amazing content. win/win :)

Woo ramble time 💛

Natascha

You are not gonna like my answer lmao. I found this dude on youtube and then this other dude on youtube who did nsfw (literally the algorithm lmao) and then in the comments ppl where talking about gwa or sth but i didnt really listen cause i didnt like using reddit for some reason. One day I had a tik tok with this girl recommending the youtube guy and in the comments someone was recommending you or sth and then i decided "might as well" and then i listened lmao

🍓 love the new jacket! I’m sure the new kicks look great 🍊 grab some (sharp!) scissors and cut your hair. It’s just hair! If it doesn’t look good it can always be fixed 🍋 I hope you have an amazing time travelling, wherever you go 🥑 when I visit Copenhagen, I will absolutely be hitting you up for suggestions. I already know you as this account so you’ll be free to finally answer to your heart’s content 🫐 I found you on Reddit, via a spicy sub where someone had posted a bunch of links to audios by men with accents. When I heard yours I was IMMEDIATELY compelled to comment (which I literally never did) like WHO IS THAT?! They tagged you and it was game over. History, as they say 🍇 in this house we hate pants

Kaya

Queue Kaya being emotional during a Crunchy ramble yet again. I truly don’t know why I always feel so intensely, there has to be a reason, I’m just not comprehending it therefore unable to explain it. I love the audios but it’s always either the rambles/updates or the 4th wall breaks that get met the most.

Phantasm Cat

Answering your question first, then my comments to the rambles after (and oh dear, pt.1): I've been on and off gwa for years. One night, I decided to check it out again, scrolling through the audios and came upon one with the tag [gentle]. That caught my attention, the username *definitely* caught my attention, thinking "hmm... crunch... that sounds cool" and a few seconds later, I was hooked. And here we are now! I've always been into audios, love voices and how one can stir and emotion just by a slight change in tone, it fascinates me. For the jacket, I love it when that happens! You see that one garment that just stands out to you and you werent even planning on it, and you know it's *the one.* almost like it chose you in a way. So happy to feel that it makes you feel good. "Sound effecty" audios are so good! I'm sure making them is a lot of fun, getting the effects just right and editing it to achieve the finished product. I can't wait to hear what ideas you have storming in that brain of yours. Pants? What are pants? Who needs pants these days? It's all about the cosy pants-less vibes here.

sending a big big potato hug to crunchy, and everyone here. 🥔 i'm about to head to bed, really really long day tomorrow but i did want to leave a small comment. coming to terms with my own unearned privilege and how different my life is to so many people from around the world has been a deeply introspective and difficult exercise. i still feel a lot of guilt and imposter syndrome some days because i know a lot of my achievements were made possible because of the immense privilege that i was born into, which consisted of mountains of opportunities and top-notch resources. isn't it funny how easy it is to forget that in a lot of situations, the system has made it so that our advantages inherently will leave others in a place of disadvantage? why does it work that way - how do we even begin to unravel that? how do these conversations even take place? my understanding of privilege has changed a lot with therapy and soul-searching, but i think to me now, it has definitely evolved to reflect the knowledge that i've obtained through the beautiful people who have been a part of this life. privilege, as is with most of our existences and identities and threads of belonging, are relative, intersectional, evolving. putting things into perspective has been a transformative process that will continue to shape how i view the world. life's tough, people are different, but we're still here. these days, i try to lead with empathy and compassion, and proceed from there. that goes for how i treat myself, too. the rest, it seems to sort itself out if i try not to correct and control it too much. the world is vast, and life is too short to tussle it out with myself - that sounds like a waste of a perfectly good thought! on a lighter note - i found you through youtube! i'm not very familiar with the GWA-sphere, but i would put on asmr as i cleaned my apartment. and one day i found your stuff! and the rest is history. i'm glad i'm here, and i'm glad you're here. i've made some really wonderful friends in this community who have helped me through some rough patches. i hope you're proud of what you've managed to create, crunchy. this kind of creative community-building is the kind of stuff my professors dedicated their whole lives trying to document. talk about what you want to talk about, in your own time, at your own pace. you know yourself best. we'll be here cheering you on in the meantime. this ramble made me a bit teary eyed, but i needed this little reminder. i'm a little soft today, like a mashed tater. thank you for reading this far, if you've made it this far. i hope you have a gentle day, everyone <3

To answer your question - I had originally only known of one guy on YouTube doing these kinds of audios (SFW versions on there and NSFW on patreon), so I thought his content was an “anomaly” so to speak, but he had sort of disappeared suddenly last year just before I actually found his content. That’s how I first realized the effect audio content like that has on me. Nearly a year passed and I became more active on tiktok thanks to kpop. Then at some point this year (thanks algorithms) there was a TikTok using a sound that caught my attention and someone commented that creators user name (turns out THAT creator also stopped making content a year before I came across his voice) but doing a little research into his content brought me to Reddit, then to GWA. I had only barely used reddit for some kpop content before that, didn’t even know how the platform functions (and still don’t really, i don’t explore there much outside of GWA, reddit, discord and twitch kinda just intimidate me) and had no idea that something like GWA even existed. I searched by the M4F tag since that was my interest and then decided to just go for “Top of All Time”, started scrolling through the descriptions, listened to a few different audios, and then there was Crunch ☺️. I can’t remember specifically which one of your audios was the first one I listened to but once i heard your voice and how you delivered the audio I was completely hooked. I had to keep discovering more, eventually making my way here to patreon and I’m so so glad that I did.

Ella

Hello hello! I’ve been listening to your audios on Reddit for a few months and decided to join Patreon this month. My best friend introduced me to your audios, and at first I told her to just download Tinder if she was that horny, but then I listened to a few audios and started to understand the appeal. The female orgasm is a fickle thing and men my age, or at least the ones I’ve been with, only care about their pleasure so at least audios and my vibe have been doing the trick. A summer jacket is such a foreign concept to me. It’s very hot where I am in the summer, so I’m exclusively wearing shorts and crop tops the whole time. If I could I would keep ice packs under my tits when I go outside, but I don’t like being stared at and it wouldn’t be a fun time when they melt.

I love getting rambles in the middle of the workday but now I just want to go home and get in my bed for a nap. The birds in the background were so peaceful. My body feels so soft and relaxed now. Nsfw ama -- you raise a very good point about personal privacy. A question that may not feel that personal on our end may be very personal for you depending on what the answer is. It's better if no one is put on the spot. Looking forward to hearing the answers to the questions that make the cut! Traveling!! YAY! I hope you can find a safe way to tell us all about it when you get back because that's so exciting!! Cultural ramble. Take your time. I teared up listening to you talk about this. Sometimes you can make a joke that you think is funny, and then you realize no one else is laughing and it's not normal. Or a casual story shared with a friend turns into a heavy realization. And it IS very hard. Because the way you were told things were, or the way your brain has learned to protect you, isn't actually the reality. And it's a lot to process when the reality hits. Yeah. Somehow in some roundabout way I ended up lurking on GWA about a year ago. I don't remember how. One of those wormholes where you click on one thing and then another thing and then another until you're WAY far away from the original thing. So I started listening to M4F audios, but a LOT included at least some mention of Daddy/degradation/humiliation kind of stuff, and that's a huge no for me. To each their own, but I can't. And then I stumbled on one of yours, but I didn't remembered the username for many months. Every once in a while you'd post, but not often and once I started listening I'd think, there's that guy with the nice sweet audios again! Finally after this happened several times, the name stuck with me (I am SERIOUSLY incognito on Reddit. Never follow, never comment, never upvote, completely random username.) So I listened to your backlog and then decided to become a Patron in December. And I have gone from someone COMPLETELY under the radar to someone who can't shut up. 😂 Have fun tonight with your friend! I'm already practicing my poker face for the poll tomorrow...

I find most native populations tend to live in harmony with their surroundings and environment without having a significant impact. With veganism I absolutely love the idea. I absolutely cannot wait for lab grown meat and cheese. As pessimistic as I can be I try to meditate on a potential solar punk future. I think for now, especially in colonial nations under capitalism, its so important to push for progress, prioritising equality and sustainable future. I am NOT gonna get into how awful wealth and power hoarding is in the world rn. I do wanna say I feel hopeful after seeing outcries and riots against injustice. Also I found your audios through reddit while researching for a story. I find your audios quite relaxing and they kinda gives me a window into what allosexuals can feel and experience (I am asexual myself) (Also wow this is long sorry)

cosymary5

Hi Crunchy and chat, This ramble was so nice and cosy 🥰 and you sounded very soft and happy, it brought a smile to my face. Glad to hear you found a jacket you liked! Summer jackets are definitely not a thing here in Romania, it’s gets so hot, I only live in tshirts, shorts and sandals and I still want to take my whole skin off… ugh I hate the heat. The anonymous form for the nsfw AMA sounds awesome! I’ve been cutting my own hair for years, because haircuts are expensive, and nobody knew how to handle my wavy / curly hair so I was rarely satisfied with it. So I kinda experimented with the unicorn haircut and now I kinda know how to handle it so it turns out ok. Also, the fact that it’s not straight definitely helps a lot, so mistakes are not really visible. Don’t worry on the cultural background ramble, take your time and only do it when / if you’re ready 🤗 As for the question. I found a now inactive creator who made both nsfw and sfw audios on Youtube in 2020 and I also found a few tik toks which mentioned a few creators from GWA and then as I started using the subreddit, I fell upon a few of your audios, can’t remember the first one, but the most memorable was Cosytrapping for sure. Hope you enjoy your trip at the end of the month, you definitely deserve some time off 😊

aiden ♡

So I’ve been listening to this genre of content for about year ever since my friend put me on to a creator that does the voices of a bunch of different anime boys I like. I’ve only gone deeper since then 💀 one day, my brother sent me a tiktok joking about boyfriend asmr bc he saw my YouTube suggestions once and people were making recommendations in the comments. I had gone through a few and not much clicked but i fell for you and your content so fast! it was specifically the “no sir” that made me feel something different than i had listening to some of my other favorite va’s. that and the sprinkling of spanish in some other one’s bc i’m fluent in the language and i love listening to it but i don’t get the chance to practice it much.

cherucaustic

Hello hello this comment is about to be a whole mess fair warning. Working out is so great, I’ve always felt so like energized after until the body aches kick in. Showing off the gains lens when? 👀 I find the whole process of being your own boss and figuring how how to be productive really interesting. I wonder if it’s more freeing or harder without having someone tell you what to do and when. If you really like how your hair curls after showering with the longer hair you could try the curly girl method? It does wonders even for people with wavy hair. Can completely change how it looks, I don’t even do the whole routine and the results I’ve seen in my curl pattern are bananas. Less frizz which has plagued me my whole life and it’s just so so much healthier and so very soft ☺️ Limeade? Now I’m thinking about cherry limeades, Crunchy no 😭. I am going to the store later though… Whatever you want to share and whatever you’re comfortable with is what I want to hear. In your own time however long that may be 💗 So how I found you is kinda blurry in the sense that I think it happened multiple times before it stuck? Haha I’ve been lurking on gwa a very very long time so the possibility of me just listening to your much older work is high. But this time around I remember reading a Reddit thread where people were reccing creators that did 4th wall breaks after a different creator had left. And they linked “You have no idea what being under you does to me” and I thought hey I’ve never listened to a 4th wall break lemme see what that’s about. The rest is history. And I am very happy I’m here listening to you and making so many new friends. Didn’t think that would happen from audio porn (though we all know this is more than that). It changed my life for the better and I’m very thankful Crunch truly. 💗 I hope you have a good evening with your friend. And to everyone else have a lovely timezone 💗💗💗

Vivitorie

I love listening to people talk 🤍 I hope you have a lot of fun on your trip and see some pretty views and get amazing experiences ✨ Also, hope tonight is also fun~ The jacket is so cute 😍 I'm developing some sort of liking towards the colour yellow, I used to hate it for some reason. I still can't tolerate some hues, but it's a big step already 😅 Also, I live in South-West of my country and in summer it's really hot here, we don't wear jackets in summer. Well, only if the temperature drops overnight or it's pouring for days. Uhm, I've been listening to audios for almost a year now. I just graduated from the university at that moment and my final year exhausted me with everything that had to be done. It was tough. So I stumbled upon one creator on YouTube, checked everything they had there and than started to look for another creators and listen to whatever it was with nice tags. And I think I heard your voice for the very first time in a collab-audio. Yes, definitely. And after that I listened to a couple of your audios, then more and more... You know, I really enjoyed your works. They were different from what I heard before. In a good way ☺ but then I stopped listening to audios and came back to them in autumn, became a Patron in mid-October. And I kept quiet for at least a month I think? Then started commenting rarely, but still was afraid to seem weird or not-belonging and at some point I just thought "oh fuck it, why not say something when I can and want to?". And it felt nice, still does. It feels safe to share my thoughts here Take all the time you need. We'll be here to listen when you're ready 🤍 Looking forward to the poll. Good timezone everyone 💓

swandle

its not very on topic or even related to what you were talking about in regards to you experiencing life while being half Spanish and half danish, but something you said really resonated. its a comfort to hear that other people also tend to realize something isn't okay later down the road. what we thought was okay at the moment really wasn't but we didn't know that until months or even years later. i feel that way all the time. I'm especially going through something like that right now. the hardest thing is figuring out what to do in the present. the past is the way it is so there isn't much we can do now. getting bitter and upset wont solve anything (its good to feel it but not to hold on to it) but doing nothing doesn't help either. idk its a hard thing to emotionally and mentally sort through and unpack properly then try to grow from. I wish all of us who struggle with this the best of luck :')

yellow seong

That yellow jacket's really adorable. I wanna steal it just because of the colour lmao I find it interesting that we go shopping for a specific thing in mind but going home with a different one instead. Like me telling myself I should get more cute colourful clothes but end up buying more in black 🥴 I think how I found you was pretty weird bc I thought your Twt was an account dedicated to men's outfits 😭✌️ I don't even know why you were in my feed. Saw you in one of your fits (and I think my eyes sparkled that time ngl), followed you, and the next thing I know I have NSFW things on my feed 🤷‍♀️ Totally confusing but that's what I get for not checking. I try to avoid NSFW audios because I know I might combust so I browsed your YT first because I know there's no way there's NSFW there. The cosy audios got me hooked and literally helped me fall asleep. And then days later I was like, "you know what? what the hell, let's listen," and now I'm here I guess 🤭 It's already Friday from where I am rn, happy weekend everyone! ☀️

solarpowerduck

Seconding curly girl method for hair! Look it up on reddit. It was a godsend for me, someone with mixed-ethnicity hair that got curly when wet and that my mom had no idea how to handle. Saw someone above mention this as well, but I've always cut my own hair too ☺️ simple way to get a blunt cut is to comb it down and make a ponytail under your chin, then cut the ponytail. I was honestly shocked at how well it worked lol, didn't even need to ask a friend to help me trim any unevenness.

Sleepy Crunch murmurs instantly lower my blood pressure. I don't understand. It's basically magic. I've been poor my whole life. But I've been privileged in that I've never been food insecure. My stepfather knew how to both garden and raise animals. And we qualified for help from the tribe for commodities. Which is basically an allotment of shelf stable food once a month. It gets messy to try and explain, but . . . Food insecurity is way more common than people think. My neighbors were less lucky than us. There would be kids who would routinely hop the fence and eat jalapenos straight off the vine. Because they didn't have anything at home to eat. We would bring over stuff we got extra out of the garden or at the store after that. It's hard to focus on eating ethical/healthy food, when you have trouble getting just . . . food in general.

agaslumbers

How did I find your content? so I remember being horny in June last year and just wanting to listen to some man moans 😆 I sort of knew about GWA before and at that time I was also listening to some pillowtalk audios, so I wandered there. I'm like 90% sure that the first audio of yours that I listened to was a [hold the moan] [semi public] one with some duvet rustling sounds, I forgot how it's titled. But I think I clicked on it because at that time I was into that whole scenario of friends being sneaky, and this audio happened to be in the monthly top or something like that. Also regarding Copenhagen and places that are worth seeing, me and my friends were actually considering travelling there and driving through the bridge to Malmo. We wanted to drive through northern Germany, then to Denmark and through the bridge to Sweden (the bridge being the main point of the whole trip). And then we looked at the prices and well… I think we'll just settle for northern Germany lol (but if you have any fun recommendations then I'm all ears, because this plan is not completely scrapped yet!) And regarding sound-effecty audios, I always laugh at how easily the "What are you doing outside in the rain" one lulls me to sleep 😅 it's such a great audio and you put so much work into it, there's all the location changes, rain, shower, fireplace, some muffled sounds… and I'm usually asleep and snoring before they're even out of the shower 😅

CarelessWhisper

Hi Crunchy! Hi Chat❤ I loved this cozy bed ramble. So soft. So comfy! Little murmurs 😍 Just lovely. I hope you have fun and lots of memorable experiences on your trip. Be safe. "Being okay with so many things that are not okay" I felt that in my soul. Take all the time you need. Okay so here's how I found you. Last summer I saw a tik tok (don't come for me. I know the app is shit) and they were using sound bites from another creator. I thought is this from a movie? TV show? I ended up on GWA and the original VA I was looking for had already left the platform. I was really bummed and scrolling through reddit and realized one, the tags can be overwhelming. Two, I am super picky about voices. You had just posted 'What are you doing out in the rain?' and I loved the tags and I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did. It's so funny to me now because when I listened the first time I was so anxious and tense. I wasn't having any of that shit. But now? Oh you're tying us up? Hell yeah! Let's goooo! Thank you for doing an anonymous form for the NSFW ama. ❤

StaceyAlli

Found you on GWA after stumbling across the page after a recommendation from some other sub reddit.. become hooked when I heard your accent (I think it’s because it reminded me of a German accent?! 🤣 I was obsessed with a German band as a teenager, so it felt oddly nostalgic somehow and take that with a grain of salt because I’m Australian and can only speak lazy English 😁✌🏻)

Bek

it's been a minute since I've commented, been so overwhelmed lately with life & it's hard to leave thoughts when you're not in the right headspace. this has the perfect cosy vibes, love these relaxed rambles 🥰 I used to visit GWA every now and then and I remember coming across one of your posts (can't remember which) but I really liked it. I think I must have tried to find the post again after a little while in January and decided to click your profile to the links, followed your twitter and saw you were doing livestreams on twitch. I'd never watched streams before but decided to go ahead and join, and I'm so glad I did. Got addicted to your voice 😆joined Patreon and I've been here ever since~ Your latest audios have been so great and I appreciate you/your work so much, thank you ♡

Vergil

I honestly can’t believe I missed this one. These notifs are messing with me aiyaiyai… 😅 I’m super glad you’re being all cosy, you deserve it – hearing you relaxed and all is so good, and thank you so much for the update. Great to hear you’re doing well. How did I find you. Hmmm… December 25th, 2020 exactly. A friend brought me to the community, introducing Reddit to me via a different VA. I scrolled and scrolled, listened to the nice, to the obscure, and came upon Lustful_Crunch, thinking it was a sexy cereal channel or perhaps moaning between spoonfuls of cereal – I couldn’t put it past what I’d already heard, forgive me – and really quickly realised I was very wrong. I remember being upset because I couldn’t figure your accent, and the more I listened, the more I focused on your voice and the content; the more I could appreciate your ethic and cadence toward the scripts you filled and your improvs to choose from. In March, I found you had a Patreon and had to join. So yeah, you’ve been a favourite from the start (I hope I can say that). 💙 Hope you’re having wonderful weekend, Crunch. 🌹

Cool Bean

Finding Crunch: Going through GWA I made a list of the users who had an audio I liked, just trying to figure out what I liked. You happened to be fourth to make the list and the first to get a star. I think the stars meant multiple good audios, idk. The "I can fuck you in the storage room as long as we're quiet, right?" made your username burned into my brain. Yeah, as a barista everything was easy to imagine, even though we do not store earl grey in the back. Then I joined patreon for the sfw exclusives and rambles and such. Also, take your time with the culture/background audio

june

Hi Crunchy 🌱 I hope pants worked out okay (and that you had a good time with your friend!). I found you on GWA, of course, after having wandered over from Syrin in early 2021 looking for more VAs. I had actually been listening to "harder" audios, but when I found you, it made me realize that I actually wanted much cosier audios. The first audio of yours I heard was the one in the back of the car 🥵 and it was all over for me then. Your audios reawakened part of me that had been protectively dormant for years, Crunchy, and made me want to start engaging with people again. My mental health improved by leaps and bounds listening to you, being in this community. I made my alt Twitter because of you and started putting my writing up, which led to meeting my play partner, who has made me happier than I ever thought I had a right to be. When I say you changed my life, I mean it, in ways I can't even express. I'm a Crunchy ride or die. I owe you everything. 🍋🌱💜

Amanda

Hello! New patron here. Wishing you safe travels on your upcoming trip. I don't usually comment much, but I enjoyed the question so here I am. I found my way here by very happy chance. I'm a big fan/consumer of situation CDs from Japan, sfw and nsfw, and had no idea there was an English VA community for the same kind of content. I found GWA completely by accident a few weeks ago on a blog post I just happened to stumble on. Very quickly I was listening to so much and just being so happy that I found people with the same interest. Almost immediately you became one of my favorites, your voice is so soothing and I have such a weakness for language. Your talent for improv and setting a scene is amazing. Was very happy to find out you had a Patreon. I love to support people who are doing "niche" things I enjoy. Will be happily working through the Patreon content this week 😊 Thank you for what you do.
