Woahh, Mr. Crumch! This is my first time hearing you play! So cool~ ( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩) ♡

DeeZastris

You *have* been moaning good lately my boy

Mrs. Dubose

I'll have to comment more later after I'm settled for the day, but listen. If I was there in person I would take your face in both of my hands, look you straight in the eye, and say BE CAREFUL with this overseas stuff. I know you will be. But I just needed to say it. There. Carry on.

DeeZastris

Also, jeg er forresten helt enig i at å bytte mellom språk er forferdelig vanskelig. Da jeg var på utveksling og skulle snakke norsk med de hjemme slet jeg veldig 🫂 du er ikke den eneste

Crunchy!! This was a delight! OMG you’re the silliest and it’s wonderful. All the best with everything - the move in particular. Be safe, be happy. Thanks for the guitar 🤍

Happy, silly Crunch is the best Crunch 💙

Ohmygosh I'm so excited for your new adventure! ✨ Totally relate to the sibling thing. I don't understand how my brother's taller than I am now? He's like 2 years old yesterday and barely reached my knees. They grow too fast 😭 Pretty sure it's the same for all gen Zs everywhere. The dilemma. I was the coolest one in the family once, when did I became a generic adult 😫 Crunchy: So I guess what I wanted to say was *moans* Me: ???? You wanted to say what? WHAT??? PLS THE WAY I HOLLERED WHEN YOU SAID "here's wonderwall" 😭😩😭😭 T'was good hearing from you today, Cwunch! 💛💛💛 Thank you for the serotonin boost! 😙

Vivitorie

I didn't realize I missed hearing you until I started this ramble 🥺 made me smile and laugh so many times~ wishing you good luck and be careful there 🧡

aiden ♡

it’s like you knew i needed company for my day in the office today 😩💕 it’s hard to contain my giggles while listening to you around coworkers 💀

Phantasm Cat

Speaking of gaming, you know what game is coming out now? Stray. The one cat game. Where's the banter there when you're a cute as fuck feline? I. Missed. You. Gahdkdme I didn't realize it until I pressed play and heard all those sillies escaping you and flowing into my ears. Just relaxed and enjoyed the moment with so much laughing and blushing in between 🥰 I do need to say that I'm feeling so many mixed feeling about the move. I'm excited knowing that you're going to experience something new and amazing for the next 3 months, I'm anxious, I'm hopeful, I'm terrified beyond comprehension, but all these feelings are wrapped up and blended into a nice milkshake of "You Got This" and I know you do. But with every form of manifestation the human mind can produce, stay safe out there~ AND THE SIBLING TALK, DUDE I FELT THAT DEEP IN MY SOUL. I have a sibling that's going to be 16. I have cousins that fall around that age and nieces/nephews that will be there soon. I used to be the cool one that knew exactly what was going on when it was going on. Now? I'm feeling like an old cat here whose been saying a lot of "back in my day" rambles. I'm not that old, I swear 😭 I know there's more to comment on, from the languages to how moans and the most intimate and vulnerable aspects of what make us human can connect us and conjure deep connections with people around the world and how fascinating that can be, but I think I'll just listen again and embrace those sillies once more before the day begins on my end. Hope you (and everyone here, hi hello!) are having a lovely time, wherever you are. Sending lots of hugs and scritches and hopefully that digital high five at some point because ayyy~ Thank you, meow meow 💙

Guitar? This is the best thing ahhhh I love guitar so much, pls more guitar in audios 🥺 Super excited for the move! Hope you have some good adventures and also get to see new places and eat interesting food. Also maybe we’ll get some chaotic story times? Glad to hear your sister is enjoying her newfound freedom and hope she won’t be affected too badly because you’re moving away for a while. The James Webb telescope photos were so pretty, I low key maybeee got teary eyed about how beautiful the universe is and I am now even more sure we are not alone 👽. It makes no sense to be alone??? We’re literally so tinyyy compared to the universe. I empathize a lot with losing touch with internet culture and the “youth”. I don’t understand these kids either and I feel so old 😫 It was great hearing from you, Crunchy and you sounded so happy and flirty and whispery hehe. Hope you have a nice day and good luck with the move ❤️

Angel

good luck with the move Crunchy!! take care out there! and yep… you HAVE been moaning good my boy 😅🫶

- It's unsettling when you realise that you're not the kid on the playground anymore and have somehow become the adult supervision. 😶 - It's ok, Gen Z is also a mystery to me. I don't understand the trends and outrages of younger generations anymore. Also anyone born after 2000 will always be a child in my mind and I shall waggle my old lady finger if you tell me otherwise. Apologies if this applies to you chat 😅 - I remember when my older sister left for her first solo overseas trip. I cried when she left too, especially since she was leaving for a month (which thinking about it now doesn't seem all that long anymore). In a pre-smartphone time, she emailed me a couple of times a week about all the cool stuff she was doing. It's funny when you think about how easy it is to stay in touch now compared to 10+ years ago. Anyway, you're moving overseas!! I'm excited for you. Safe travels sir, you'll have an amazing time. And thanks for the updates, this was a nice notification to see as I finished my evening shift at work. Off to sleep for me now (while I listen to more of you... hehe ☺️)

Amanda

Hope everything leading up to the move goes well! Planning that kind of stuff is always the hardest for me; at least during the actual 'event' there's just too much going on for me to have time to get anxious. Yes! Everyone should look at the photos back from the James Webb telescope at least once! I'm such a huge space nerd, so it's been so exciting, especially seeing the direct comparisons to what Hubble had taken. Just think about with how majestic and expansive the new photos are, that they're still just such a small pinhole glimpse of everything that's out there in the universe. I wish you had gone on about your keyboard switch preferences more 😂 I love mechanical keyboard talk. I was never a fan of the clacky-ness of blues and reds, so I've used browns for forever now. They have just the right amount of noise feedback without being overbearing. Really enjoyed you goofing around with your guitar at the end, have a good week Chrunchy ☺️

cosmicdreams

good to hear from you crunchy! glad to hear you’re doing well and excited for the move, i wish you the best of luck with the moving process and i hope it’s a great experience for you 🤍✨ hearing you talk about how proud you are of your sister made me soft as a fellow older sibling. we don’t really get sentimental with each other, but if anyone were to ask i would say that my sister is my best friend and one of the coolest people i know. i’m sure it’ll be tough to be away from each other but it seems like you guys are so mutually supportive of each other and that’s lovely 🥰 the james webb telescope images are so incredible!!! i’m just blown away every time i look at them, and learning how many light years away some of these nebulae are is just… incomprehensible really. that one image where each tiny circle is a whole fucking galaxy???! insane. also these images are amazing because we can’t actually see this with the naked eye because we can’t see that much infrared light. as a certified gen z, i can say that our humor is…. distinct 😂 i watched this video essay recently about gen z humor and how it’s essentially one big inside joke and that feels pretty accurate to me. i feel like millennials have a hard time understanding it sometimes, and even as an older gen z i feel a bit out of the loop with some of the memes and trends going on in my generation. my sister makes fun of me that i’m stuck in 2014 lol, but i just own it. yeah i like soft grunge aesthetic and listen to the ultraviolence album on a daily basis 😌 thanks for the ramble crunchy! sending love and good energy to you and everyone here 🌱

agaslumbers

yes moans are definitely a global language, especially *recent ones*, i understand them really well, yes definitely. but jokes aside, I find this whole topic of sexy languages super interesting (why do sexy talks in our native non-English languages often make us cringe?? why do we prefer English??). I wanna write more about it but I'm swamped with deadlines rn and i don't have time to get too deep into this, maybe i'll return to it in a couple of days. meanwhile good luck crunchman in all your endevours and overseas adventures, this was a delightful update-ramble-thing. sending hugs to everyone and don't leave your deadlines until the last minute

june

I came as soon as I heard Crunchy was playing guitar 🙏🙏 what did I miss

Mrs. Dubose

Hey Crunch, IF someone were to poke you after posting a certain audio of a certain nature, should they do it in the Reddit comments or here on Patreon? IF someone were to be competitive and need clarification on the ground rules, that is. This is all hypothetical, of course.

CarelessWhisper

Thank you so very much for the update and ramble. ❤️

Invisible Skye

This ramble was the first thing I listened to when I woke up this morning and is about to be the last thing I listen to before falling asleep. The day was insane so a real comment will have to wait for another time...but it's good to hear your voice. You're always missed. 💜

Natascha

Woah its been 2 years since my last spanish class and i understood 80% of what you said lmao whoop whoop

Acedia

I feel weird commenting on older audios, but I was listening to old rambles and vaguely understood some the Spanish here now. There's a thing called 'switch cost' in referring to languages and bilingualism (or being trilingual too.) For some reason, the brain does have a bit of delay after switching languages. The delay differs depending on how fluent you are between the languages, wether is just comprehension or actually speaking, if the sentences are full switch, or if it's a mash up of the two languages, etc. You can get better at it but I don't know if anyone is capable of a 'no-cost switch'. There's tons of studies on this with widely different findings (that I don't fully understand), but it's atleast pretty common among polyglots.
