I don't know if anyone mentioned this or if this has been changed later on in the series, but I think the reason why Shanice was getting fine is because I think 'affection' was a turn-off for her. Every time, Carter did an interaction under affection, she got that negative heart thing. Anyways, I am lowkey here for Carter and Shanice actually lol.
