Asexuality is a spectrum, ranging from desire of sex itself, amt of sexual attraction towards other people, etc. You can look up sex-positive, sex- neutral, and sex-repulsed asexual for a better explanation!

? Jock GF is a masculine girl and Prep BF is a feminine guy, and they're both cis. Nerd BF is not a girl, just because he isn't a cis boy doesn't mean he's a girl. What "opposite gender" traits are you talking about?

Okay, 3 out of 5 then. Nerd BF is wearing the trans flag. Turning the majority of your nonconforming characters into trans is harmful in my opinion, because - in my opinion - you then promote the idea that if you don't conform to a certain idea of gender, you must be trans.

I can also say that Jock BF has "traditionally" feminine hobbies such as cooking and doing girl group dances while being a cis man. Prep GF has "traditionally" masculine hobby such as gaming while being a trans girl. I'm not forcing" anyone to be trans, the characters just /are/, as a trans person I think I'm allowed to explore gender in my own media as a reflection of my reality?

I stand by my opinion and I also respect that refrainbow stands by his decision. That just means the comic isn't for me anymore. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing nerd being so nonconforming while still identifying as a guy - because I see myself in him (before I knew he was really a her inside). I loved how he was (from my perspective) saying fuck gender norms. But now that she is trans, it's a completely different journey. It just reinforces the ideas that her behaviour was "for girls".
