Rest a little in the room.

You startle at the sound of the door opening. You jump up, only to find the fox that you had helped. You get a better look at the toy as he approaches. His movements are jagged from his limited range of motion; his plastic hinges creak slightly with each step. The plastic looks relatively new with minor scratches here and there. It's just as if an action figure was sized up... and moving. His eyes are wide and glossy and they're fixed on you, "Where did you two come from?" his voice echoes from his chest rather than his mouth.

You tell him both of you found yourselves in the air duct after crawling through a tunnel deep inside a dungeon. He looks at you as puzzled as his facial features allow him to. He looks over at the open vent and at the clothing you both are wearing and nods his head in belief. "It's not often we see non-toys or plushies running around because they're usually turned into one of us. I think boss caught a lamb passing by recently. It'll be unfortunate if they get their hands on you, they'll put you to work here in the factory nonstop. At least the workers like us get breaks."

He leans in and pokes at your body in a curious manner. His initial shock when you came crashing down makes sense if he's never seen something other than a toy or plushie here. He prods at your horns and then at the bunny's ears. He catches himself being somewhat rude and steps back to readjust himself.

"Either way, you need to get out of here," the plastic fox says.

Boy, haven't you heard and felt that all night. You explain to him that that is what you and your companion are trying to do. He ponders for a moment and asks, "Well, where are you trying to get to?"

You instinctively pull out the pocketwatch and then realize that it no longer functions properly. You pop it open anyways and watch as the dial spins in random directions, but it intrigues the toy. He asks if he could see it and you hand it to him while explaining what it did (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62725304/). He inspects it closely and hands it back to you, "There's someone who could help you. The timekeeper fixes all kinds of watches and clocks, I'm sure he'll be able to fix this one. He's up over on the North side of the department store's third floor, past the escalator and to the left. There's a giant sign that says 'CLOCKTOWER.'"

He taps his hip and you're surprised to see a small compartment open. He pulls out a golden button and hands it to you. "Give him this, he'll know it's from me."

He looks you both up and down once again. "You'll have to find some sort of disguise. There's a store that does costume painting on the second floor though I'm not sure how that would work on scales and fur... Either way, you can't be running around here like this. I can maybe get you guys over to fabrics and materials if you want. It'd be my way of saying 'thank you' for earlier."

You exchange looks with the bunny.

> Ask him to sneak both of you out of the room.> Climb back into the vent.
