This post is dedicated to Hana Kimura (a professional Japanese wrestler) who today committed suicide due to online bullying. 

Not only is this completely tragic, but it is also completely outrageous that hateful strangers made Hana feel that her life wasn't worth living. 

We are responsible for what we post online. Anonymity does not mitigate responsibility.

You are what you do. Be something fucking worthwhile. 

Be kind. It saves lives.

It's insane and incredibly ironic to me how disconnected people can become after putting themselves behind a keyboard, disregarding completely any sign of civility and consideration for other human beings and just typing away horrible monstrosities that can ruin people's lives. I just don't get it...

😥 Some people are just so awful. This hits really close to home for me personally, and goes to show that even adults that appear to be living their dreams are not safe from this kind of behavior. No one is, really, and it's just so unfair.

Internet is a great place full of amazing people... Until it isn't... Because some people tend to turn even the best things against others... It's sickening..

I confess I'm not one who believes that kindness is always the answer, but that doesn't mean we need to devolve into hate and anger. There are so many places on that spectrum. If you can't be kind, be silent, or if you have a case to make, then present some calm and rational arguments. What happened here is cowardice and arrogance. My personal hope is that this plagues their consciences for the rest of their days. But, if I had to guess, I'd say it won't :(

No one should have to go through this. It’s incredibly painful fo hear, but I know she is in a much better place. If anybody you know struggles with this, direct them to the suicide hotline.
