"Everybody: you are not an ideal or a brand or a concept... you are a person. You are allowed to be messy, confused, uninspired, plain dysfunctional. It's okay. And if people find you lacking, that's okay too. You're not here to be anyone's type. You're here to be you."

Thank you

Kojiro91

Agreed, thanks Tea 💙 Would still really like to be someone’s “type” but it’s fine 😅

Coby-O

Perfect timing on this one Tea. I have been having thoughts about how I am compared to my family especially my brother. I wanted to be what they probably wanted me to be or act, but it’s pretty clear that I’m not. I was recently thinking that I was in the wrong despite telling myself for a long time that it’s okay to be different and be me. It’s always wonderful to hear from you or someone else who I really don’t know on a personal note that I am not the only one who thinks that way and/or has problems similar to mine. Thanks for this Tea. Keep being you. 💙

Thank you so much, Tea. You’re here to be you, too. And you are pretty amazing.

Shadowy Fox

I really needed that. Thank you.

Nosscheech

I wish I could feel this way but I haven't had the mental will to do so.

I am often exactly what you described the person above, and this definitely happens to all people, this is a fact. We have the right to be ourselves. Absolutely correct words.

NakedSunFlower

To be honest, I always adhere to this concept, since you should never adapt to other people, this is an absolutely unnecessary matter.
