I really appreciate an audio like this as someone who has always had a bit of extra padding to their stomach. It's been something that I have been self conscious about for a long. I'm taking steps to rebuild my self-confidence from the ground up but it has been an uphill battle. This audio definitely gave me a much needed boost this week so thank you, Tea.

I've always had a belly and I don't think that's the worst part about me. I'm far more concerned with being able enough that I won't be a nuisance to someone because I'm legally blind. The lack of attraction to the disabled makes it even more disheartening.

When it's the right person, everything just fits. I hope this doesn't come across as patronising. I just think it's really easy to convince ourselves that no one could possible love of us because of whatever we're insecure about. But that's simply not the case - that's just our brains trying to keep us safe. The known is what's safe, and so the prospect of being vulnerable in a new relationship makes us fear it. Be brave, my internet friend. We're all terrified too. That doesn't mean we gotta be alone :)
