“Are you really hugging your high school bully?”

Forgiveness isn’t for the person who wronged you

It’s for you, so you can let go and move on.

…

Touching commission for a lovely commissioner

...

DISCLAIMER:

To clarify, I don't think there is one way to handle a past bully apologising to you. I've never been bullied by a peer, but I do think that all cases are individual and there is no generic statement that can cover all of them.

This audio absolutely does not endorse "oh, well, they said they're sorry - so, we should forgive and forget all bullying". Not at all. It's simple one example of what could have led to the bullying, how that made both the victim and the bully feel, and how on reflection, a person could take responsibility and try to make amends.

Most bullies, especially high school bullies are being abused at home. Violence, cruelty and humiliation are normalised from a very early age. This is not an excuse, but certainly part of the explanation. But then again, some people are just cunts. Life is infuriatingly grey and that's what makes it so damn hard to figure out.

Good luck to us all.

All the best,

Tea

"I was never angry with you. I was sad, because I was afraid that you'd lost your way."

Oh man, I love this. If only more people did this and followed up on it, then forgiveness would be more available. Such a difficult thing but so important for everyone’s peace of mind

As someone who has A LOT of experience with being beaten and bullied, this will make for an interesting audio later when I'm free.

*gasp* wow this concept... bullies being abused is a real problem in our society, can't wait to hear it, thanks Tea for this audio, and thanks commissioner for this concept

Spoiling us on this day!

Am i going to listen to this 12 times? Yes. Am i going to once again compliment Tea on her choice of Immersive music which compliments the script and feelings? Also yes <3

This is one thing I have never been able to do. I can hold a grudge for as long as needed. I need to work on it before I become a vengeful spirit.

People like to associate the unhealthy expression of affection with little kids on the playground. Pulling a crush's hair or punching them because everyone's "too young" to know how feelings work yet. Turns out, it's not just about age. It's about a bunch of stupid things that coalesce in the direct association between violence and wierd feelings. That's me trying and half failing to be deep as I say, major thanks for this, Tea!

Idk what happened to the comment I posted earlier (guessing a problem on Patreons end), but I just wanna say Tea that this was a great audio, it even made me tear up a bit. I never got an apology from any of the people who bullied me, so hearing this was a pretty surreal experience. Thank you for making this Tea, and thank you to the commissioner for commissioning this wonderful audio. BTW Tea, is this going to become a series? Because this sounds like the first part to a series.

Well anyone who ever bullied me when I was in school I very quickly showed them the wrongdoings of their ways. And after that they ever bother me again. Pain straightened out of motherf*cker real quick. No I don't recommend anyone knew what I did to involve that problem, but some people just can't learn from words. Do what you will with that information. Also don't ever fully a quiet kid. It never ends well.

Yo what’s the song?

we need a part 2 ASAP

A very nice audio. Not every bully is coming from a place of pain and confusion but some are. I was bullied a lot back in the day but I don't hold grudges against any of those folks. Forgiveness or maybe just forgetting is a good thing.
