"Be careful when answering your door. You are perfectly within your rights to just not answer to anybody. Got cold called today. Someone swore at my mamma. I chased after them, they dished out more abuse. Be safe and don't let anyone push you around."

P.S. We're absolutely fine. It really wasn't dramatic, just unpleasant. Left us with a feeling of 'ew'.

Ready the aged and uneaten Easter Eggs- we got a Doorbell Ditcher to pelt. Please stay safe, Tea.

Phoenix Brave Hideki

Oh no that sucks Tea but im glad you and Mama Tea are all right. Thanks again for a reminder to stay safe.

Blindluck92

There's a whole lot of societal conditioning about being the better person and all that, but good on you for running that jerk off!

RoamingNPC

That’s why I keep my smacking stick next to the door

Ravenforce3

If you ain't expected or a cop I ain't answering the door. Simple.

Monkee Boy

'They swore at my mama, I chased them.' Goddammit right! Just keep a whiffleball bad next to the door. No long term damage, but it leaves an angry red mark and makes a beautiful 'ping' when you whack people with it, lol.

I am sitting here trying to figure out which of the tea sprites would be best to chase some shady sales guy... brought a smile to my face

Arvel

chasing after them sounds so brave, I don't think I'd do that unless I'm deeply hurt. big props to you tea ^^

UNDRESS_ME

It's very sad to hear about this, but I'm glad you're all right and safe. Try to forget this incident quickly. Our time is hard and there are many angry people. Take care

VitAnyaNaked

Oh, I'm sorry about what happened to you and your mom, it's really an outrageous case that happened to you. Stay safe.

Pall Serpent

Stay strong, T. Don't be afraid to whoop some toosh if you have to!

Haha. Not brave at all. It was all very pointless. They just kept ranting. Nothing I said seemed to connect. It was just me feeling protective :)

hmm, I'd still call it brave. Who knows what could've happened when you stepped out the door. But since they ran it must've given them a short "oh shit" moment, which maybe did do something. Even if they kept ranting. But they don't know you and your mamma, you know better than them, always keep that in mind. You may feel as protective as you want, because you very much were protective ^^

Someone Swore At Mamma! Let slip out the Dogs of War, let them chase after the perpetrator of this heinous act. Let them chew on the backside of the perpetrator, and let them eat their fill. But on the other hand it would be a shame too give the doggies constipation. If it happens again don't chase after the Ass it isn’t worth the risk, Yes you are right to be pissed off but mamma and we do not want you to get hurt. So just slam the door in the face of the Ass. Preferably if it is a male Ass then try to get his private parts between the door and frame before slamming it shut.
