Speaking as a southerner, I absolutely love the Yorkshire accent! I think an audio using it could be a lot of fun to listen to, though even appealing to your audience is an important part of your job, I wouldn't want you to be uncomfortable using it, even if things are different now.

First of all, it's great to hear you a bit more relaxed. I know you won't be super cheerful overnight, but it's nice to hear you calmer. Second, your voice is beautiful, girl, and you shouldn't hide it or strain it. It would be awesome to hear your real voice in future audios. And lastly, the internet is full of mean people, but believe me, most of us out here are just regular folks looking for some entertainment before going back to our daily grind. Don't let anyone try to humiliate you or make you feel bad for doing your job. You're good, talented, and if someone doesn't like it, they can go to hell. Life's too short to deal with jerks.

"Not all that appealing?" Tea, when I first discovered your channel, it was through an audio with that accent (a Christmas/New Years one of some kind, iirc). It was lovely back then, and my stance has not changed. I always refrained from asking, "Hey, which accent are you faking better than many professional actors and actresses?" because it was 1000% none of business. But setting all that aside, if you are comfortable doing so, and want my unfiltered and honest opinion, then yes. It would be very cool to have Yorkshire accent audios now and again.

The accent took me a bit by surprise, since I always thought to myself that you have a very clear pronunciation, which in turn makes it relatively easy to understand even for a non-native speaker such as myself, at least in my opinion. But truth be told, I think I'd really like to hear more of this accent. Trying to be nice and yet swear like a drunken sailor. That sounds kinda fun and sweet, which is exactly what I enjoy about your content.

Hey Tea, your natural voice and accent are lovely but, they are exactly that, you own voice and accent. Everything else is an affectation and thus sperate from you, the person. I would suggest talking with your therapist about this and maybe give some more thought to it before making a final decision. Maybe I'm way out in left field. But only if you feel comfortable - if you try and don't like it then don't feel pressured to release it just because you offered to do one. I’ve lived in West Yorkshire my entire life and an audio would still be my first “Yorkshire Girlfriend” experience. Would absolutely love it Tea. Living in the US (at least in the parts I live in) I don’t hear English accents all that often. So it’s an absolute treat when I find a VA or ASMR video with a genuine English accent. To top it off, your natural accent and voice is extremely cute and pleasant too. At the end of the day you’re a VA, and a damn good one at that. So anything you put out is going to be fantastic regardless of the accent. Your American tea accent is so good you could keep using that, or just go with you’re natural accent, or a mix. And I think trying out new accents would always be a fun treat. I do like this voice more than than the other British voice, no offense I love all your voices but it’s a bit more “warm feeling” this one vs the “proper” British voice if that makes sense

Yes, absolutely! You do you. It adds so much more to what you already have brought to the table with your audio work. Rep your people's native accents with pride. I believe people will love it. It just gives you more to work with and adds more spice to your voice acting talents.

and here I was just thinking you were an American that living in the UK, didn't realize you're actually also a Brit. I didn't think this is was possible but god damn Tea- you're name is Tea... how did I ever think you weren't British, anyway - this makes me like you as a creator even more.
