What, you thought we'd forget? Of course not! Just in the nick of time, we’re ready to assault your ears with this month’s Purple Stuff Podcast. (It’s a good one!)

When we were kids, one of the best things about summer vacation was THE SUMMER SLEEPOVER. That was when you and a friend became one-night roomies, and fended off sleep with a mix of munchies, movies and mayhem.

On the latest full-length episode of the Purple Stuff Podcast, we provide an hour-by-hour breakdown of what it was really like to have a summer sleepover, specifically in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. We’re really proud of this one. If you’re anywhere near our age, we know you’ll connect with it.

I've got my sleeping bag rolled out, the NES fired up, and my French bread pizza just dinged.... It's Sleepover Time my brotha!!!

So much time spent watching horror movies and playing N64 at sleepovers. And I wonder how many gallons of Surge I drank. I miss it.

Such a great show! I almost hate to admit it but , while they weren't traditional sleepovers, mine continued all the way through high school. Of course we just referred to it as "crashing" because it sounds better. My group of friends would head out to wherever our plans took us for the night and when we were done, we'd stop at Cumberland Farms, pick up some fudge brownies, pizza Combos, and a case of Americola, and play SNES until whenever. And instead of going home at 2 or 3 AM, we'd just crash over each others houses. Maybe we were a little immature for high school but some of my best memories were of those nights.

Heroquest! I love it. It's what got me into Warhammer and tabletop gaming in general. There was a new version released last year.

I really loved this episode! Definitely brought back some memories of my late 80s/early 90s sleepovers 😊

I agree with the need for a box fan when sleeping. I stayed at a fancy pants hotel recently for work and I missed my dyson fan so much. I miss lean pockets and Jolt so much, it was the best tasting cola. The battery cans from the mid 2000s were the best.

Sleeping over at Matt's house tonight. On his deck. He won't know it but I'll be there.
