Totally disagree that C2 is better than C1, but I understand that C2 is - in a weird way - a much more Purple Stuff option than C1. Also want to shout out that 300SEL from the Hitchhiker... I had that same car, and watching her drive it back after everything it's been through - and it still running AND being vaguely car-shaped - was really gratifying.

There is no way the voice actor that did Norman's mother in that "Psycho" promo isn't John Kassir, aka voice of the Cryptkeeper in "Tales From The Crypt." I will eat my hat if that's not the case, and I don't own a hat so I'd have to buy one.

Here's another bit of trivia that maybe only old farts like me knew. The music that's playing during the following morning of The Raft is also Lex Luger's original NWA theme song, which feels like the most Jay trivia ever. And I'm with Matt. Creepshow 2 was definitely more my vibe than 1. Those animated sequences just ooze the era so much.

A few words about this killer episode: I'm 42 and I watched I dream of Jeannie and Dalas (with my mom lol) Jeannie as the cheating wife in the hitchhiker segment trying to hide an add fair from Master/JR would have been amazing. Hearing Matt drop Z Caverizzi? Holly hell I was right back in 1980something. Love it. I also never felt cool enough to wear them. That bit...the raft blew my mind. And those old school bathing suits did things to my kid brain. The commercials all brought me back perfectly. Loved it.
