We thought we'd follow up last August's bonus show with another trip to Spirit Halloween, and we did, but it was kind of a hot mess. This is the story of too little Spirit and too much sushi. We won't say more than that. Just listen to our tales of woe as we struggle through a 500-degree Saturday afternoon on the hunt for spooky garbage!

...and keep an eye on the podcast, because this month's BIG show is still yet to come!

PS: If you wanna see the products we'll be discussing on this episode, the links are below... but stop reading if you don't wanna be spoiled!

1. Dante's Inferno Room Sign!2. Pennywise Mask!3. Killer Klowns Cotton Candy Gun!4. Beetlejuice Sandworm Doll!Enjoy the show!

I remember there was a Droopy cartoon that aired as interstitial on Cartoon Network in the late 1990s that was called "Thanks a Latte".

What a perfect way to end the day today! You could have done the whole bonus show on the sushi and it would have been worth it 🤣🤣🤣 Super excited for the groundbreaking big show this month!!

I'm still campaigning for Nudist Colony of the Dead's theme song to be included in a Spooky Songs episode... I mean, the lyrics: "You'll be shaking in your boots, from corpses in their birthday suits..." Pure poetry! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFoPSlr03aM

You two have the best banter. I freaking loved this episode because I managed different Spirit’s from 1999 to 2016. I actually listened to this on the way home from Halloween shopping. We bought the Dante’s Inferno plaque and the Killer Klown ray gun too! That Spirit store you went to seems super weird. At first I thought it was a pop up location. They open those in areas where competitor Halloween stores open, to steal their business. They don’t typically have last year’s items in it because they are too small for carry over merchandise. They are normally the last store to open in the district because they rent the space after they see another Halloween store there 1st. I worked at a few of these and we would have full on wars with each other all season! 😆 It was wild. The 1st store you went to may have been a franchise??? I saw on their website that they are franchising now.

AWESOME Surprise, Guys!!! Perfect way to end the first day back to work, after some sad times... Jealous of your Spirit, no matter how small! Ours are still a few (weeks??!) out, and the closest to me (new location!) has apparently been forgone... (BUMMER!)... Great mini-soda, Can't wait for what's Next!! (And BTB, I'm in N TX, and we've had 60+ days of (way) over 100 degrees so far this Summer... Sorry you're dealing with the HEAT too!... All will be better... SOON... :)

Until the Toys R Us closed, our local Spirit was in a tiny former video store, so this is unintentionally nostalgic! I’m looking forward to the next big episode! Will Whoudini’s Haunted House of Rock get slighted again despite being featuring in the Trick or Treat school dance scene?

Seriously, this is my new FAVE 'minisode', next to the very first in 2018... (ROADBLOCKS! BLASTING "VENUS"! YANKEE CANDLE!!)... :)

Hey do yall record together right after you get back from a trip? I've always wondered.

These adventure episodes are the absolute best! Never stop!

So for no Spirit Halloweens in my area of operations. Vacancies are all full up. And that Killer Klown ray gun noise reminds me of a UFO sound in an old episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show.

As a resident of Freehold, this episode was so oddly specific. Love it! Anytime you boys need color on all things Monmouth County, let your boy know.

I think I got you guys beat. Our spirit store in Tennessee this year was literally the size of a walk-in closet. You get 15 people in there it’s at capacity. I was so disappointed. Walked in and could see the back wall from the door.
