As promised, we’re back with a second bonus show for January! A BONUS bonus show!

This one is a Q&A, where we’re answering YOUR questions. And boy, you sure gave us a LOT of good ones. Way too many to cover in a single episode, so we will definitely do another Q&A soon to tackle more.

For now, we’re taking on these:

1. What’s our go-to movie when it’s raining out?2. How do we determine our spending limit on collectibles?3. What did we think of Ghostbusters: Afterlife?4. Were we into any girl-targeted toy lines?5. Which of the G.I. Joe animal sidekicks were our faves?6. Did we have any cartoon crushes as kids?7. If we could live in a house from a movie/show, which would it be?8. How would we schedule a 24-hour horror franchise marathon? Thanks to everyone who sent in questions, and don’t worry if we didn’t hit yours yet – we’ll get back to them soon!

Enjoy the 2nd bonus show! And now for some good news/bad news. The good news is that we still have this month’s regular BIG show yet to come, so you have that to look forward to. The bad news is that we had a massive technical issue that threw our schedule into chaos, so that show may be a day late. If so, just pretend you didn’t notice that January was already over.

Thanks so much for your support here on Patreon! We’re aiming to sprinkle more DOUBLE BONUS MONTHS into the festivities here, so stay tuned!

PS: Feel free to play along with YOUR answers to those eight questions, in the comments section!

1. Labyrinth, Casper, Moulin Rouge, or Star Wars 2. Are my bills paid? And do I have the spare cash? 3. I loved it! A worthy follow-up to the original two. 4. Several! I collect vintage Barbie, She-Ra, Disney Princess merch, merch from 90s films like Anastasia and Swan Princess. 5. I wasn't into GI Joe 6. Dimitri from Anastasia 7. Whipstaff Manor from Casper! 8. Halloween, Elm Street, and Chucky.

Captain Spooky

1. The Fugitive 2. No more than $50 on myself. If I ask for a birthday present from my wife the limit goes to $125. Over that, it depends on how much the tax refund is lol 3. Haven't seen it yet. 4. Polly Pocket seemed pretty cool. 5. Polly, Shipwreck's parrot. 6. Gloria Baker, Vanessa Warfield, The Misfits from Jem, and the Baroness. In that order. 7. Trakker Mansion. Tennis court, pool, and oh yeah a secret subway line to a secret underground lair, you know, nbd. 8. Sloppy Seconds - the second movie from several major and minor horror franchises of the past fifty years. Friday the 13th 2, Prom Night 2, Sleepaway Camp 2, Halloween 2, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Child's Play 2, Doctor Phibes Rises Again, Scream 2, Ginger Dead Man 2, 28 Weeks Later, Dawn of the Dead, and Psycho 2.

I'm happy to say as an adult, I have realized my dream to turn my residence into the house from Pee-wee's Big Adventure.

4. I loved the 80s My Little Pony! I only had one figure but it was like a cherished secret I couldn't tell anyone about. However, I really, really did want to tell people, and once the topic was out there it turned out all my friends (admittedly that was only ike, 4 people) were into it and had secretly bought a figure or two. It was kind of amazing to get that out in the open, it went way better than I could have possibly expected.

Thee Kim Reaper

1. It (1990), Rotld, Dolls...and the Goonies IS a PERFECT Sunday morning movie! 2. I try to keep my spending limit under $50 for one item, BUT there are always exceptions if I want it bad enough. 3. I thought the new Ghostbusters movie could have been better. I wasn't blown away by it. 4. I was into ALL toy lines. I didn't care who it was targeted for. 5. The Croc and the Wolf are cool 6. I had a crush on Bart Simpson when I was really young. 7. Pee wee immediately came to mind. That house from the Haunting is awesome too, minus all of the murder and creepy ghost kids. 8. Child's play 2, Day of the Dead, Noes 3, Friday the 13th 3, Halloween 2, Evil Dead 2, Scream 2

6. Jay Sherman from The Critic. 7. When I was a kid it was either the Full House house or the house from Home Improvement. As an adult now, I realize how basic my choice was. I think now my choice would be Catherine's apartment from "Working Girl" with 'dat chandelier that comes down from the celling so you can clean it. Oh and OF COURSE the Home Alone house.

You guys answered my question on the 1st bonus show ever. I'm still riding high on that 4 years later.

Maybe one for next time: Would you say that doing the podcast has changed you at all - either through experience, communication with each other, or from the audience?

Michael Lindner

Mighty Men & Monster Maker was the “boys” version of fashion plates. I owned this as a kid and LOVED it.

Electrolux

Matt, if you really want a Barbie Dream House just go buy one on Ebay.

1. "Rainy-day movie" to me means binging MST3K. 2. I've gone as high as $2,500 for lot of comics from a collector who was in trouble with the IRS and needed cash fast (no, it wasn't Nic Cage). It lot included Showcase No. 4 with the first appearance of the Silver Age Flash. 3. The only Ghostbusters movie I recognize is the first. The Highlander Rule applies. 4. I can't say I was into any girl-targeted toy lines, but a classmate who lived two streets behind me had an Easy-Bake Oven, and that was fun. (They apparently don't make that model that used light bulbs anymore.) 5. Snake-Eyes' wolf sidekick Timber, obvs. 6. Princess (Battle of the Planets), Baroness (G.I. Joe), Cheetara (Thundercats), Firestar (Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends). 7. The Addams Family house. 8. OK, here's my 13 picks, in no order: -The Evil Dead -Tombs of the Blind Dead -Halloween 3: Season of the Witch -Scars of Dracula -Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell -A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors -Hellraiser -Friday the 13th Part 2 -Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) -The Omen (1976) -Phantasm 2 -Psycho 2 -Night of the Living Dead (1968)

I’m listening to old episodes like I always do, and just want to say this is such a great episode! So funny, and the music is fantastic. Love you guys!

Listening to old episodes of PSP is my new version of Nick at Nite. Just wrap me in a blanket, turn off the lights, and give me a hostess blueberry pie.
