Hey there, Patronies! We're back with this month's Patreon-exclusive bonus show, which was really just our excuse to eat a bunch of junk food. Yep, it's time for another taste test!*Three* taste tests, actually. There's a ton of great snacks out now, so if we were gonna spend a night indulging, we figured we'd hit a bunch of them in one shot. Featured in this episode are our thoughts on:

Is that Dr Pepper Strawberries and Cream Zero Sugar on your crotch or are you just happy to see me? I was one of the few people that religiously ate The Big New Yorker pizza when it came out. Only because I lived in the middle of the desert and it was the only place that would deliver to me lol. Now that it’s back, I don’t care. We also have a Papa Joes down the street that’s actual New York style! 😃

Ah ok, at the bottom of the post there's the three dots. That opens the file in a new window that's all black with the play timeline. I'm able to right-click on that and save as. Definitely a little tricksy now!

I haven't tried the IHOP cereal yet, but I did have the other two. Funny enough I gave them the same scores that Jay did. I was surprised how much I liked that Dr pepper flavor. Great episode!

Had a little trouble finding the download button as well. I usually download the show on to a $15 MP3 player then listen in my car.

As a teen when The Big New Yorker was first out, I remember that I always ordered it with their regular sauce and not that "sweet marinara". I wonder if it would hit any different now? I just can't bring myself to order Pizza Hut anymore since I'm surrounded by great local pizzerias, but now I'm tempted. If they even DID bring back the Bigfoot, it would be a no brainer to order one of those!

Cereal with anything not real milk is blasphemy. I thought IHOP cereal smelled better than it tasted. Of all the special releases since Halloween season, only the Reece’s bat one really did it for me. The Apple Jacks pop tarts coming out might be the truth though

You guys are exactly right about the Dr Pepper Strawberry Cream Zero Sugar. It's awesome. Of course, I also love the Dr Pepper Cream Soda Zero, which is now my go-to flavor. As for your question about why they don't do cherry, I know the Freestyle machines *do*, but in general you'd just be adding more cherry to a formula where cherry is already the main base, which is the case for all dark syrupy sodas I know of.

I'm a new subscriber to the Patreon so catching up on back episodes. Saw the New Yorker was being featured and, lo and behold, I hear my brother's voice as he played Steve in the ad. Quite a trip! Also was working at Pizza Hut when the New Yorker went away in 2004-2005, still have a cheese cup and sauce ladle from it somewhere.

I know this post is, oh, three years old, but I feel compelled to say that I’m the one person who has pined for the return of the Big New Yorker Pizza for all this time haha. That commercial you played for it was on the PlayStation demo disc they gave away that had Final Fantasy VIII and the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, which we played an insane amount in our house. My brother and I would always quote it, so it’s got that major nostalgia factor for me. I really liked the pizza at the time too, but I was disappointed with this new release! It’s still good, it just doesn’t resemble the original Big New Yorker for me.
