Well at least Apple is coming forward

Everything in life has a purpose. Sometimes it just takes a little time to realize this.

Poor Orchard is going to be heart broken when she learns Apple was the last to talk with Salem. Makes her look really suspicious. (Also, I can't imagine the feeling of looking down at your medallion in the morning and seeing your rank shifted, and knowing something bad must have happened.)

Znydragon

And so it begins. it’s good for Apple to admit to her wrongdoings, but she’s digging her own grave at the same time 😬 Anyways, I hope u get better soon!! Get plenty of rest. You and ur baby need it.

This page is just to amazing Maggie, and I hope you get better soon. ❤️

I feel like if she says she saw something and didn’t do anything about it she’s gonna be in major trouble

Charlie Costco

Oh I did NOT expect apple to just blurt that out in front of the colony! Atta girl 🥺

Charlie Costco

Also! Get lots of rest! Sick while pregnant is never fun. Take it easy and make sure hubby spoils you!

He's been going above and beyond for me, it's been so nice. 😭🙏 Sometimes I think I'm just being a baby about it until I remember I'm actually compromised. 😵‍💫 This too shall pass!

Sta yooh Glacing

Take some rest Maggie... Please don't push yourself too hard. We will always with you. ^^

Not the main focus I know but I like how since last page we see Chupa among the Scroungers, since he switched to rank 14 (so far it seems to be only 5 dragons per class so I assume it’s what happened, except for brewers?). I’m sure the poor guy wasn’t ready to become one so soon, as he seemed experienced with the defender job for so long. He will get to learn the ropes while being part of today’s report. What a nice headstart. And in the meantime there is a dragon we haven’t seen: Cadmus, a brewer that has a dark brown skin color and two big fangs (can be seen in the dinner scene, talking with Clovia). I believe that one became the new number 4, and so who became the new brewer? I bet it’s the girl that likes to show off her rank. Because she was rank 11 until this morning and she subtly changed spot on this page, being next to Clovia. On the side it’s what she wanted, back in the dinner scene again. Last thing: where is the one that looks like a crocodile ? They were a scrounger I believe and I did not see them anywhere around either. Back to the lore it really tells a lot about the consequences of a murder in the hierarchy, aside from the trauma. Merrikh surely did caused a big mess back then. Nice work on this side storytelling!

I absolutely LOVE it when readers pick up on these things. It’s like a reward 🥹♥️ you’re pretty much spot on with these assumptions, and the crocodile fella (who I regret putting in this comic in the first place 😂) is on the previous page in front of Clovia. He’s just a little blurred out. I’m trying to make him look less crocodile and more dragon haha

Oh, so that was the blurry dragon on the previous page, ok got it! And I’m glad you actually got to reply on that, I could only be a figurant that could appear later on or something. I won’t’ be mad either with an elusive reply honestly, letting me think even harder! x) Then I could suspect them for the murder too, like the Rankless got an accomplice. That would be quite a twist :o
