Spott - Get Bad (Patreon)

"Really happy with how this one turned out" is basically becoming the catchphrase for this album so far, but I can't think of any other way to put it lol. I'm just having too much of a great time with this release. 

Here's a track which I think will open the album (I know I said "Play" might open the album, but i think this one takes that spot(t)). The weird broken-silence opening is directly inspired by System of a Down's "Prison Song", which opens their "Toxicity" album. I've always thought the single "DUN" followed by like 4 seconds of silence is a great way to begin an album, so I'm doing it too.

I'm posting this as a finished track, though might look over some niggly parts of it that I'm not feeling 100% about right now. Just small stuff, like the hi-hats feel a little too high-pitched, and the whiny trumpets are a little too quiet, I think.
