ShareLunker sounds like a community of people living on an old container ship in some kind of waterworld setting.

As a fish taxidermist with a 15 year long Eve Online addiction : finally, a podcast for me (to be apoplectic about)

Usually don’t comment but on sharelunker - lots of places down south bring customers in via big displays of giant bass, but they’re relatively rare. So they leverage people out fishing already to source them with the promise of reward and prestige - the most important aspect of bass fishing. No one really eats bass, and the taxidermy fish is actually a fully fake recreation meant to be mounted on the wall. The fish itself may potentially be released at the end of it all

pretty great fact that I love is that when hairstylists get autopsied, the autopsy...er can tell because of all the hair trimming stuck behind their eyes

In the region of Central California where I grew up, Kokanee salmon were quite common in the lakes. Of course, the best time to catch them was during the spawning season. This meant that everyone in the area had either been busted upon by a very confused salmon, or knew someone who had. I am myself innocent of this distinction, but I occasionally wonder if there is some kind of mystic protection it might have conferred upon me.

Be careful with squeezing and yanking that ostrich's neck. You can get pregnant from pre-key.

Oh, we have MANY MORE BOATS (this is only the recreational number, not commercial or military): 4.3 million.

Tim Horton’s alone owns controlling shares in enough shipping vessels to easily make good on the offers in those emails. Now, what people would do with them once they owned them is anyone’s guess. Perhaps invade Australia?

Fish just spontaneously busting all over the person who caught them has made me reconsider my stance on guys with fishing photos in their tinder profile.
