I’m always so excited when Ben names places I’ve been. My last car broke down on highway 164 just outside Mart and I had to get it towed to Waco. There were no ostriches unfortunately.

Don't know if you guys have seen that map that shows highest paid public sector employee by US state but it's a college football coach in like more than half

the following is all true: when i was a kid i insisted that “the tooth fairy” return my teeth after paying me for them so i could keep them in a small Pogs tube. i kept this container in a goblin-ass treasure box alongside a rosary and miraculous medal blessed by the Pope, a Bulbasaur figurine, and a nickel flattened by a train (among other things) until well after high school. when i got my wisdom teeth out at nineteen i woke up alone with my mouth full of bloody cotton in the procedure room. i then wandered to the desk where my mom was signing stuff and huskily demanded “where are my fucking teeth.” upon being told that they had been destroyed in order to be removed, i angrily but drunkenly called the dental assistant a LOT of very bad names as she helped (read: basically carried) me out to the car for my mom to take me home because i couldn’t walk in a straight line i was mad (in part) because when i was thirteen i still hadn’t lost most of my baby premolars and molars, so they were all pulled at once over Christmas vacation that year. i couldn’t eat anything that required chewing for like two weeks, but at least i got to put those teeth in my cursed box after the procedure. that made only having eight teeth for a while seem worth it, somehow

Happy to report the news from my most recent visit, you can now perform bank transfers in the US. Unfortunately as with most things over there it doesn't work very well. My brother in law paid for my Steam Deck, and when I tried to transfer the money to his account it was flagged as a suspicious transaction and we're now locked out of that account until we can call Wells Fargo from Australia.
