laser physicist here: lots to say about lasers, but i’ll restrict myself to just saying: 1.laser weapons are actually a violation of the Geneva Convention, because blindness was decided by the UN to be a Fate Worse Than Death. 2. those spicy lasers you can get online are super dangerous please don’t buy them. they often output a non visible beam in addition to the one you can see. this non visible beam is pretty much a hair removal laser. those cops are definitely being cunts about it tho
