We're saddened to inform you that there is no potential supernatural murderer posited in this episode. But we're very happy to inform you that at least 30% of this episode is promotional material for the premiere of the 3D Summer blockbuster James Cameron's Avatar!

We also have an update on Bagelgate, a letter from a listener and our earliest instance of Wild Speculation yet!

I think the most egregious part of Bones as a character is that she isn't an egghead physicist who doesn't interact with people, she is an anthropologist whose expertise is human culture, who has been all over the world and interacted with lots of different people, speaks 100 languages, yet the writers will haphazardly portray her as not understanding some basic facet of human societies for an episode.

The bureau is so much better than any American network television

Not to Britfend too hard, but outside of fancy Riley living in fancy London and buying his boeiogels from fancy Brick Lane - every supermarket in the UK will be selling you Bagels. Technically this is anti-Semitism, as is cream cheese. Oh and we invented cream cheese so we can call it whatever we want (same as we do with countries).

The McDonalds / Avatar advert really sets the scene for having to click through security warnings about launching a Flash game - and it's worth it, this is wonderfully terrible. Excellent archival work. Punk! Ponk!

I'm not sure if the running bit where y'all day that Bones and Bojack Horseman exist in a shared universe is sincere or a joke, in which case it's entirely possible that I'm just being a nerdy dickhead here. But I do want to clarify that Bones as living person does not exist in the Bojack Horseman universe: The TV Show Bones does, and Emily Deschanel cameos as the character in a scene where Mr Peanutbutter watches the show because he's a dog and gets excited because bones. Also, it's a weird version of Bones from an alternate reality where the show is good and Bones says things like "To the Bonesmobile!", a line which Emily Deschanel audibly doesn't find funny.
