Theo, Andrew and Ben are here to deliver the Shipping Report. Plus: infiltrating a high school to promote your Instagram, tiger crime, and a shockingly complete list of the kinds of animals we wouldn't like to be killed by.

Here's the article Theo said we'd put in the notes: https://www.eater.com/2021/5/11/22430383/why-are-gross-viral-food-videos-popular-rick-lax-facebook-watch

Driver education films with horrific death footage are an American thing dating back to the late '50s. The good old "scare 'em straight" mentality in action. The one Andrew describes may be the notorious Signal 30 (1959), though they usually had more lurid titles like Mechanized Death, Wheels of Tragedy, and Highway of Agony. This shit was still being produced well into the '80s and is now all over youtube though I heavily caution against looking it up

Scamwatch is best when Andrew introduces it with an excited flare and the old music / lead-in. Seriously, one of my best smiles to this show was an excited, “Scamwatch!” Quick and enticing, look out moment

In the UK they did this weird one that basically a full 15 minutes of classic teen comedy/drama where they're sneaking around trying to get alcohol underage to go to this party. It builds up like they're going to drive drunk for ages then they all get in the car totally sober and crash straight into a tree, killing everyone. Not really sure what the lesson was supposed to be, drive drunk because apparently you're going to crash and die anyway?

Is this another episode where the hosts have taken various psychoactive substances? Because I enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work
