RE gun insanity in US, one thing that shocked me was that not all handguns have a safety switch. In NSW for example, our cops specifically commissioned Glock to make a handgun without a safety switch to make it quicker to shoot. Not sure if others do this but presumably so? I think a lot of revolvers also don’t have a switch per se
