Breeding pugs is kind of like humans developing Münchhausen by proxy towards dogs. The best example I have seen in that regard was an Austrian family trying to make their pug swim in the Danube (hint: they cannot due to their lack of mobility and snout, their noses are just immediately in the water) and when the pug almost drowned the owners were all like naaawwwww so cute. Fucken. Ok.

Going through older episodes since I’m new to the Patreon, but I lived there for 2.5 years. I heard at least 2-3 shootings from my apartment while there. Otherwise it’s a cool place. Weird, too. With a weird history. Look up “The Greensboro Massacre.” It was a shootout between local communists, klansmen, and n@zi’s back in the 70s. There’s still a prominent communist presence there to this day.
