New Destiny - Cover (Patreon)

Life's been hectic. My employer is closing the facility I work at "sometime next year." That's in quotes because they won't say/don't know what the date actually is. (They keep giving out conflicting info; this is their most recent...) I've been having medical problems with my legs, and in the orange one's infinite 'wisdom' has made massive changes to student loan repayment, making what I owe a month go from $180 to a whopping $680. So, I've been dealing with other stuff instead of working on comics at night for the last couple of months. I'm not asking for pity or more money; I'm just giving you full disclosure on what's been drawing my attention away from my Patreon work to all of you who choose to give me money for the comics I make here.

I have a comic that I've been holding as filler that I am going to publish now, while I get caught up again on the Party Store comic and Raygun interlude. The comic is in my on-panel-a-page style because I worked on it in snippets between other projects. I put a lot of work into some custom assets and took the time to render each image so they would look as good as I know how.

On the topic of the Mannequizer. This last comic was the end of the comic adaptation of what I had done for the original image caption. Every comic from this point forward in the series will be new material. It will not be changing its original tone. Some of the plot I have created is to allow me to keep the flow going from the original captions as we go past them.
