Bio

Mae Lawson is a 26-year-old master's student standing at 5'8", the kind of person who takes a while to warm up to but who turns out to be completely worth the patience once she does. She carries herself with a certain distance that strangers tend to mistake for indifference, and she is not the type to go out of her way to fill a silence or make small talk for the sake of it. The people who have made it past that outer coolness, however, know a different side of her entirely, one that is deeply affectionate and almost fiercely protective of the people she has decided matter to her. She does not let many people in, but the ones she does can count on her absolutely, and Mae takes that responsibility seriously in a way that she would never say out loud but shows constantly through her actions.
