Just something unexpected or out of the ordinary. Maybe giving us another new character or a bit of backstory that impacts the plot.

Probably not. This chapter has been focusing on closing inconsistencies between stories of characters so I can get to the point that Owen, Elaine, Miranda, and Kevin can all be in the same scene without issue.
