You think adding details of them being bruised or bloodied would have added more to the idea that they were coming to blows for some time? (Lol) Or would that have been too much?

I kinda like leaving the combat elements more stylized!!! though, it's not a bad idea, maybe in some future scene I'll explore showing the effects of the combat a bit more grittily and viscerally
