Hello dear patrons, and happy almost-Halloween to everybody!! Hope you got your costumes ready... π Here's an update on everything you can expect with my art:
π₯¬This month:
Tusky's got his costume figured out! You guys voted in the poll to see what he should dress up as, and the winner was construction worker!! π· He's got his hi-vis vest on (safety first) and is hard at work erecting sturdy girders... or whatever they do in construction. I'm hard at work just like Tusky, getting this painting ready for you guys to see on the 1st!!
If you missed it, make sure to check out the bonus painting I did this month of a random neighborhood dad getting dressed for work in the morning! He's probably one of Coach's friends. https://www.patreon.com/CeleryMan6/posts/bonus-dad-for-172812560
π₯¬Next month:
November is wide open!! I'm feeling like this might be a good month for another wild card illustration, something random that doesn't revolve around any of our established cast of characters. Gonna let my mind wander and see what finds its way onto the canvas π Previous wild cards have included Coach's poker game scene, autumn farmer guy, and the baseball players in the stadium. Stay tuned to see what next month's ends up being!
I also posted recently on here asking you guys for suggestions for how to organize this Patreon better, to make it easier for you guys to browse and access the art that you want, especially for new members. You guys gave me a ton of good suggestions. Next month I am going to attempt to incorporate those and rework how this Patreon is laid out a bit! I hope it will improve the experience for you guys.
π₯¬December:
An idea that's been thrown around a few times is showing what the real-world characters (Seamus, Eddie, Coach, Kal, RGB) might look like in the medieval fantasy universe! I've always thought that would be really cool to visually explore, in particular defining what class/archetype each of those guys would be in a D&D-inspired setting. December might be a good time to dig into that idea... perhaps with a group scene??
That's the art update!! Hope that you guys find something in there that excites you and gives you something to look forward to!! IRL I'm getting ready for Halloween myself. Hosted a big old Halloween house party last weekend with the husband, so I think the actual holiday might be more low-key for me. I ripped off Tusky this year and dressed as a construction worker myself!! Somehow I think he sold the look a little better than me though... hmm. What are your guys' costumes this year?? Anybody got anything they worked especially hard on?
I hope you guys are doing well, enjoying life and are excited for the holiday season, whether that means the actual holidays, or maybe just getting a few days off work!! As always, a massive and heartfelt THANK YOU from me for your support - Excited to make and share more art with all of you πππ -CM
