Cast your mind back to the year 2000. Okay great. And now think about the movie X-Men which introduced the world to the modern superhero movie with the likes of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Patrick Stewarts a bald guy, Ian McKellen as Magnet and Halle Berry as a much underused Storm. And with the likes of James Marsden coming back as Cyclops for Avengers: Doomsday in 2026 this decades old Marvel franchise has never been more relevant. And then there's the Bryan Singer of it all. YUCK. Anyways thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review.

Be interesting to see how X-Men would be received by a general audience now. There is a problem SF&F often has when it tries to do allegories for prejudice, or at least if you try to read it as an allegory, which I guess has become known as the Zootopia problem. In real life, prejudice is just fundamentally irrational; most people of whatever race or sexuality or gender are really not a threat to you, and are really not interested in you at all and just want to get on with their own lives. Whereas arguably there are actually rational reasons to be worried about people who fire deadly blasts from their eyes that they can't really control.
