I noticed in Strange New Worlds that they’ve changed the Star Trek timeline. Obviously TOS was written in the 1960’s and certain key events were supposed to have happened in the 1990’s, which must seemed a long way off at the time and they probably weren’t expecting that 60 years later the show would still be going. So they’ve changed the dates of some things, which is fine, but what if it goes another 60 years? Do they just keep shifting the whole timeline? Like World War 3 is supposed to happen in the mid 21st Century.
