MINI-TOUR EXCLUSIVE PHOTO GALLERY : ) + thank you (Patreon)

hello all! I'm dropping in to say THANK YOU to all of you that made the trip and came to one of my 4 shows last week and letting all of you that weren't there know that they were a smashing success. the old songs were given fresh life and the new songs were well and truly road tested (and received with the exact feral energy I was hoping for).

I cannot tell you how proud I was of my (small but mighty) band and crew for what we pulled off last week! earlier in the year we decided that it was time for Pete - my beloved MD & bassist of basically my entire career to date - to pass the reigns on and for us to go about finding a new OG touring bassist. (btw Pete is still involved in the show as 'musical director' but is a super busy and successful touring legend on other artists' shows now). we held auditions in March (my first time doing that!) and when Scarlet walked in we all knew we'd found the one. she is an absolute POWERHOUSE of a musician and our personalities all clicked instantly! she smashed it on stage and turns out after a week together she is also a purveyor of quality memes.

we did a full re-build of the OG show - new songs and old - with Pete in April; we had 10 full days of rehearsals! I also bit the bullet and CRUCIALLY with the help of the SECRET DEMO CLUB FUND invested in my own full live show audio package. a lot of the gear I need for my show (FOH/mons desk / drum mics / stage boxes / wireless equipment etc) I have borrowed & rented over the years but it's led to a huge lack of consistency on our end and the hire fees have simply costed me a BOMB. so I bit the bullet and bought everything I've needed to borrow/hire in the past. I'm feeling so good about it; I think the investment will pay itself off over this next cycle, especially with the volume of album 2 touring I'm hoping to do. so thank you SDC for your collective support and all the ways in which you continue to help me keep the good ship OG afloat and thriving!

btw - check out these KILLER photos from Em from the London & Bristol shows.. I've included a few exclusives that I won't be uploading anywhere else. Em kills it every time and is actually in the SDC so might see this.. everyONE SAY THANK YOU EM FOR BEING SO TALENTED : )

love you! so excited for more shows in the future!
