hey SDC ! as I prepare this announcement for later on today I wanted to give my day one's a quick advance preview - it's the Everybody Needs A Hero (extended edition) tracklist. this digital-only release drops on friday, May 16th!

on there is:

NOW WHAT? - the new song you've just heard (and your jan 2025 demo)

PEST - yes, those of you may remember PEST CONTROL.. well it's finally coming and it's got a feature on there from a band I love, Tommy LeFroy

ONE EYE OPEN - I can't remember if this made it onto the SDC, it may have a long time ago.. this is an offcut from the main album recording process that didn't make the main tracklist, but I always loved

THIRTY - your Nov 2024 demo, in fact the demo version exactly! stripped and simple, it felt right to include this updated snapshot of this time in my life

MINE (stripped) (feat. dodie & gret) - an official release of the version we recorded at Middle Farm Studios, with dodie's insanely beautiful vocal arrangement

and that's it! I know the SDC in particular may want 100 x the amount of new tracks but.. that's exactly what the SDC demos are for : ) I'm excited to put these new songs out as final puzzle pieces of this record/era
