HEY GORGEOUS FOLK!

As of this week there is now over 600 of you on here! HOW AWESOME IS THAT. the warmest of all welcomes to any new folk - I really hope you enjoy it here, leave comments & get involved or just sit back & enjoy the tunes!

here is your January demo, a song called 'gone' ! creatively it began as a slow month for me, and then half way through the month BAM! the ideas came flooding in - I had 3 songs to choose from in the end, which nevvvvver happens! it wasn't even that I had a ton of inspiring experiences this month, but there's just something about a january.. I tend to do a lot of reflecting at this time of year. this song was about drifting from a close friend. oddly we're actually becoming close again, this friend & I, but this song was about a time 2 years ago where we were fast becoming strangers and it was taking up a LOT of my headspace. (I suck at change !)

more on the lyrics tomorrow & on the music after that - but for now, I hope you enjoy. let me know thoughts (of all kinds) in the comments - it really does mean the world to hear your feedback!

luv

Gonna give this one some more appreciation: After having this in my head all day, I have just been listening to this song on repeat for the past half hour. Dunno why, but I'm really loving it again. <3

Sounding good! I love the instrumentation that comes in after the 'gone, gone, gone' part and the guitar breakdown
