demo no43: 'new friends' (Patreon)

hey friends, here's a lil' song called new friends. some of u may recognise it from a voice memo I posted earlier this month!

it's a song I started in London & finished on a day off tour in Amarillo, TX. all the hotel rooms were full of sleeping band and crew members, so the only place I could record was on the tour bus.. hence you'll hear the hum of the tour bus engine on there!

this song has the kind of brutal (& uncomfortable) honesty that  I love in other songs.. I really love it & it was cathartic to write.. but I'm on the fence about releasing it officially. we'll see. still mulling it over.. but perhaps it has a place on the EP I've been piecing together..
