first draft february: the full playlist + vote for your fave idea (Patreon)

hello secret demo club!

welllllll first draft february is over and whaT a month. I turned 25, released my 'freckle season' EP & came up with 12 new song seeds from scratch. it was a really fun exercise in running the ideas tap + learning to not be too precious with what I share with you guys. getting comfortable with sharing unfinished/super early ideas is tough, but I'm getting there now & I trust u guys. you really are great at imagining where these ideas could go, even when they're super early on.. that's a real skill!

I'd love to hear which ones of these ideas you all liked best. here's a soundcloud link of all 12: https://soundcloud.com/orlagartland/sets/first-draft-february/s-aqr8n - have a listen through when you can & let me know your favourite one/ones in a comment below! I could do with your help in picking which ideas to work on further.

if you missed of any of these first draft february ideas as they went up and would like to re-cap or download all the mp3s, you can find all the original FDF posts here: https://www.patreon.com/orlagartland?filters[tag]=february

(please note that these ideas aren't affected by the archiving of old demos! that's just everything up to the end of 2019, so these aren't going anywhere). just FYI: in the metadata of these mp3s I've put the album name as 'first draft february' and not 'orla's secret demo club' (which is the album name for all my usual patreon demos) so if you download these mp3s your computer/itunes app should group them in a separate place to the previous monthly demos. :)

thanks for everything in feb guys, bring on march & beyond. let's all stay happy, hydrated and free of corona-v

og

xx
