here's an idea I've been working on this week. it sounded like a whole new world at first, currently trying to de-aladdin it.

a loving reminder that if you'd like to apply to be a mod of the secret demo club discord server, today's the last day! click here for the form. we'll stop taking applications at 8pm BST today - that's in just under 3 hours. :) if you're not sure whether to apply and want to find out why we're appointing new mods, here's a longer post explaining that.

happy saturday

lots of love,

your friendly neighbourhood ginge

Genuinely didn't hear the Aladdin in the second bit until the second listen haha, I do love it though! I think we can all relate to dreaming about the future in difficult times (unless I'm misinterpreting!)

sarah miller

How do ya join the discord thing lmao help me pls ahhaahhah

David

Wonderful Sketch. I love that I'm not alone with this. The same thing happened to me with colours of the wind.

Greta Frigerio

love this and the aladdin version haahahaha

sounds lovely. it's been so long since i've watched or listened to aladdin that i can't hear it until you hum it.

Kasia

it made me SO emotional and that was totally not what i expected cause what i expected were some alladin laughs (which I got at the end but... the first minute nearly made me cry)

Naomie Clark

What if you went up at the sustained notes instead of down? so you can keep the longer notes without getting the aladdin vibe. so similar to the aladdin version in length of note, but instead of going down at "me" you go up.

Abby Altenberger

Your lyrics always get me in the feels. I think with the sustained notes you wanna keep, it'd be cool to add in a rhythmic difference at the end that's giving you the quicker rhythms you want, but also make it a bit confusing if that makes sense! Also maybe going up on "me" would help dissolve the Aladdin vibes. :) amazing work og

FerretsCantGame .

who cares if it's similar to Aladdin. It wasnt exactly the same. Just very similar. And music sounds the same all the time. I've heard songs that have small moments of sounding like other songs either on purpose or accident. Hell theres even a song on the radio that I swear they took a sims 2 or 3 loading screen song and made a song out of it. I dont think its that big a deal. But do whatever sounds best to you.
