PRETENDING comes out tomorrow! here’s a sneak peek at the artwork. single no.1 from the album ARE YOU SEEEEERIOUS. it’s happening! it’s real! and I’m releasing the whole thing on my own label (‘new friends’) because of YOUR SUPPORT. LITERALLY YOURS! So this is my release but in a lot of ways, it’s our release :) 

Of course, like with every release I’ll be barking all about it all over the internet for the next few weeks - thank you in advance for putting up with that. Not everyone on my insta, twitter etc is as attentive and tuned into my project as you lovely lot. But rest assured there will be many more songs coming after Pretending, both official releases + Patreon demos :)

You may have seen on my socials - I’m doing an online costume party (!) tomorrow to celebrate the release of the PRETENDING music video, which is set in the bathroom at a costume party. Details for that in the invitation attached - would be fun to see some secret demo club costume pics go up! Will be trying my best to share my faves and looking at each one that goes up. I don’t actually know what I’m wearing myself just yet.. but the owner of the studio where I’m at right now says he has a whole costume box for me to root through tomorrow. F U N !

It’s a joy to be back releasing music after such a fucking crazy year. I hope this song and the rest to come can serve as a soothing distraction from madness!
