rough jam: 'restless enemy' (Patreon)

hey secret demo club! wazzzaaaaaap

ideas have been scarce the last couple weeks so I'll take em where I can. this was very much a music-first idea so just mumble lyrics for now.. sometimes I like to make a lil beat, loop it round, throw a couple effects on my vocal and just sing, see what comes out. I've found that singing with conviction (even nonsense lyrics) auditions melodies better than just an 'ooh' or an 'aah'.. and it's so interesting to detach and see what words /vague shapes come to your mind!

anyone guess what song I had in mind when I put this together? you know it..

what could 'restless enemy' be about?! what does that even mean! WHO KNOWS. ideas welcome. in fact I'll attach the instrumental of this jam here - so drums+guitar, none of my vocal.. and if anyone wants to have a sing over it be my guest! sadly no way to attach audio in comments but email me secretdemoclub@gmail.com and I'll listen to anything u send! I like the idea of this.. this is a mega rough like 10 minute effort of a track but I might try this for more fully formed ideas / little chord sequences in the future!
