one tour ends (and another begins..) (Patreon)

hello angels! dodie's UK tour is now over and quite simply I had an incredible time. here are a selection of photos from our show in hammersmith apollo, london on monday (the biggest show I’ve maybe ever played ever?). anyone who made it to a show this month knows the production and show for this tour has stepped up massively - there were props, choreo (!), a 3-piece string section and I got to move between guitars, uke, keys and percussion.. it was a lot! I take the responsibility of bringing someone else's project to life on stage vERY seriously - especially one of my best friends in the world - so I worked my butt off this month and luckily by the time the shows started I felt truly comfortable up there throughout the set.

touring in covid times comes with many complications but what I really missed most about touring is the camaraderie - a group with a shared goal! and in this case a group always trying to grow & improve the show, always trying to push things forward. what a beautiful thing :’)

now this week I move into prep and rehearsals for my own UK tour - I can’t wait to see some of you there! I am sO ready to play this album live. some shows have sold out but tickets remaining for Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds & Brighton here.  

also - I’ve got your september demo ready for you tomorrow! ❤️ it’s been a busy month and having a song on the go to pick up here & there has been a lovely little focus in amongst all the madness. excited for you to hear it!
