voice memo idea 'change' + an apology/request (Patreon)

hey SDC gang. been writing this today + really enjoying the process, wanted to share what I've got so far. lyrics below! it's a song about growing up, I think.

something else - I've been made aware that I'm slacking on some of the perks I've promised u, SDC and I wanted to say sorry. I got so wrapped up with the album last year, touring first half of this year and then writing since I got back that I simply haven't followed through on some of the things I said I would. 

I've always considered the most valuable things I offer here to be the demos + updates + live streams/zoom hangs, but in focussing on those I neglected some of the other plans I had. I wanted to do some 'behind the demos' podcast episodes - it was an idea that fell to the wayside and in hindsight I certainly shouldn't have listed it in my tiers before I knew I could deliver! I've let my tumbleweeds sweep across my secret second Instagram page and for the first time in SDC history I missed a live stream. serious jail time for me on that one - I think that one time it went from the end of one month to the midway point thru the next month just meant I lost count. (gold tier patrons I'll put a new post up for u soon giving the date for an extra one so we can catch back up!).

anyways - all of this is to say - thanks for sticking with me, I promise to pull my socks up and be better. a lot of you on here don't care much about the patreon perks and are just here to show support, whilst others (rightly) care about the perks you pay your hard earned $ for. whilst I remove the perks I haven't been offering from the tiers I'd like to add 1 (or 2) new perks/offerings into the mix, for you guys + anyone new to the SDC. I'm open to ideas and have set up a google form here where you can leave an idea. 

I'm happy with what I'm offering for the bronze tier ($3) as the demos will always be the most important thing here - but I'd like to add something to the silver + gold tiers ($5 / $15) to make sure those who give that little bit more feel they're getting enough from me to make that patronage worthwhile :)

**please note** I am human - a human with boundaries & only so many hours in the day. the purpose of the SDC is to bring you along with me on this journey & give you an insight to music as I make it; for me the SDC should compliment /run alongside the writing process - not take me away from it, if that makes sense. so best to avoid suggesting things that take up tons & tonnns of time (time I would otherwise be using to write & record album 2 for u!). just want to manage expectations here!
