New demo 'Lifeline' coming tomorrow! (Patreon)

HEY ALL. Just a HELLO from your fave leprechaun and a heads up that there's a brand new demo coming your way tomorrow :)

I've just finished recording the lead vocal, so just a few harmonies and fun bits to add now, but heck I'm super happy with how it's come together. Remember my list of songwriting challenges, the one everyone helped contribute to earlier this month? Lifeline is a song born from one of those, under one of the first challenges 'write an angry song'. Sonically the track is pretty chilled, which ends up as a weird contrasting backdrop to a pretty angry set of lyrics. In a nutshell it's a song about being patronised and how daaaaang infuriating that feels. Grrrrr.

*also* here's a pic I found on Tumblr that really caught my eye. Frustratingly the original artist wasn't credited so I can't even tell you who drew it.. but heck, I just really like it. I've been trying to make more of an effort lately to collect lil' visual things I like, so that when it finally comes 'round to releasing again I'm not so stumped for ideas. :)
