demo no13: 'i care too much.' (Patreon)

Hello hellooooooo. Welcome to your April demo. It’s called ‘I care too much.’ (yes, a fullstop in the title felt right. . angst.com/me! SUE ME)!  I wrote it with my wonderful housemate Hannah, who features on backing vocals at the end!

Lyrically the title pretty much says it all.. but hey, it’s a song about caring so much about someone that it becomes a little exhausting. A post dedicated to the lyrics and a little more behind them coming tomorrow :)

Really hope you like it, I’m proud of this one.. plus I ticked off another one of the song challenges - ‘write a song in 3/4’. WOOP. Check.

(pss - I cannot for the life of me find the artist's name for this image, just spotted it on tumblr.. it felt perfect because the image reminds me of self-love/growth.. and this song is about neglecting just that and instead spending all your energy on someone else !)
