I was hoping that I could share this picture with some better news.Development of Fat 'Till Friday is being put on a long-term hiatus. With the game requiring more time to finish and the future of legal access to pornography being up in the air, I can't justify continuing development until the future looks a bit more certain. The way that I was approaching development was unhealthy and I had been overworking myself. At the same time, I was panicking about how the results of the presidential election might affect my ability to produce and distribute my work. During my recent mental health crisis, I decided to take a break from Fat 'Till Friday development until the results were determined. The improvement in my mental health was immediate. Working on individual pictures and commissions has been much less stressful and, I was hoping to start progress on Fat 'Till Friday again once the future of my career was less precarious.Obviously, the results were not in my favor. In the meantime, I'll begin working on some midsized projects. More comics, stories, and sequences are planned, and I'm very excited to continue telling Lancelot.Fat 'Till Friday isn't permanently shelved. I've spent too much creative energy, writing, planning and designing characters for this game to give up on it. If at some point soon, the legal status of pornographic content is a bit less uncertain, I hope I can finally pull all of this art and writing together into a coherent game. That could be in a few months, it might not be for another four years.Thank you for your support! This project was much larger than I'd initially expected, and I appreciate you so much for sticking with me while I bit off more than I could chew! As sad as I am to step away from something I'm passionate about, I'm excited to show you more of what I have in store!

I'm sorry to hear the project is being put on hold, but your mental health is definitely far more important, and there's still a lot of stuff up in the air right now. Hopefully things work out and progress can continue at some point, because you've put a lot of heart into this.

Like previously said, do take good care of yourself Kynes. We're still here, and we aren't leaving.

Sad to see that this project is shelved, but as others have said your mental health is more important. Though I do hope this gets finished someday as I have enjoyed playing what there is to play so far!
