As outlined in the more general announcement I put up before this, here are the choices for the April extra chapter. One vote per patron and the poll closes on the 7th. The option with the most votes will be put up on the next extra chapter day, the 2d of April.

Stranger

A piece centered on Hanno and Antigone, set in the years they spent under the tutelage of the Gigantes.

Adamant

A character study of Klaus Papenheim, the Iron Prince.

Beatification I

The first of at least two pieces on the past of Laurence de Montfort, the Saint of Swords.

As much as I’d love to learn about Hanno and Antigone’s time training together, I admit I’ve been more interested in what shaped Laurence to be the pain in the ass we knew her as

As interesting as Laurence was, she’s not really a part of the ongoing plot as far as I can tell now that she’s dead. Much more interesting to get an insight into active characters.

I wanna know more about Laurence. I'm really hoping we get to see her fight with Ranger, since that seemed so pivotal to her character, but I really just want to know more about her in general, since she's such a complex "Hero"

Please more Saint. I don't think she was gone too soon from the story, but her past is too intriguing to not read more about.

Man, I'm honestly shocked that everyone left my boy Klaus in the dust here. When I saw Saint on there, I knew she would win, but when I clicked I at least thought Klaus would make second place! I'm still voting for him anyway. At least we get to learn more about Saint.

Infiniman, Klaus is really cool and all. And as a German he and his kind are the "me" people in the story. But Saint as a genocidal good guy is such a novel concept. Rational german army man isn't.

Can I request please that you put a placeholder for the chapter (eg “Title” “This is a Patreon supporter-only chapter, link here”) on your main Wordpress site, for two reasons: (1) it will remind me to come here to read it; (2) it will hopefully drive subscriptions.
